 Dear EVERYONE:

If an abomination, especially a possessed one, is grappling someone, DO NOT shoot it unless you can take the head off to prevent an explosion. if it jumps on someone and whoever it jumps on mashes melee fast enough, they can take the head off with no explosion. They can't do that if you kill them before the head stomp. If their head doesn't come off, then whoever they were humping is at the epicenter of their explosion.

Take the heads off or DON'T KILL THE ONE GRAPPLING ME.

I try to blow their heads off when they're hugging someone.
I fail miserably of course, but it never hurts me to try.

Sorry but sometimes it looks faster for you to drop from the nuke husk and lose aggro after i revive you then to try and protect you (impossible unless missiling) from the incoming scion grenade/praetorian beams. You're going to drop either way and at least the nuke husk is gone (or else i have to give it a berth, shoot it THEN revive you)

If you're wresting the nuke husk with nothing around, sure, i'll leave you to it.

Appreciate the PSA; not that I think it'll reach those who need to hear it.

There are a few kits where if I get caught in close with them, I'll just let them grapple so I can curb stomp them. Loving collectors like I do, it does upset me when I get a blast in the face as a shadow or justicar, or other kits that have tools that solve the PA problem.

I need my revive medal(s), I thought BioWare designed them this way, builds team spirit and shows that your team really cares when they come to your aid

Of course, a better option would be to use something with high knockback, like a krogan melee, to send them flying off before they grapple anyone, but some people just... you know...

LOL i did kill a pug on monday this way, was profusely apologising and yelling at them to not medigel and let me revive them. I even gave them a healing Geth turret to make them feel better post revival. 

sent them friend request after match, so far they have ignored it

Slash, lash, flamer spam: annoyed.
Reactor venting: more annoyed.
Spawn nuking on hack or device waves: pissed. L2P.
Nuking me with an aboomination: I laugh.

nope if you get yourself mounted by a abomy you are a liability and i take out liabilities.......

What ? They don't explode if you take their heads ? Good to know I guess .. I usually just let them explode and then revived the poor partner XD

Yeah, any method that removes the head prevents them from exploding, even if they are possessed.

So batarians and anyone with one of their gauntlets may heavy melee them with impunity.
