So we now know deathstroke, deadshot, bane, joker, copperhead, are all going to be in the game. Who wants to speculate on the other assassins?

Lady Shiva or Firefly would be welcome.

You know, one of the people I wouldn't mind being in this game, even just as dlc, would be Andrea Beaumont as the Phantasm. Probably won't happen, but I really liked the movie as a kid and would like to see it brought to glorious video game reality.

I think there may be some League of Assassins stuff.

And it's confirmed, no Batgirl in A:O. I could definitely see atleast a Barbara Gordon cameo.

@Brotarian I'd actually really like that too. She's another Paul Dini character whom I'd like to see appearing outside the DCAU - Such a shame he isn't writing for this game :(

The game comes out this Friday on Oct 25 which wasn't on my radar even with pre-ordereing it. The Joker is in it but since Mark Hamil retired from the series, Troy Baker is doing the voice. Here's a clip of him doing the voice which is a very solid impersonation of Hamil's work. Since the game is still part of the Arkham series, a different Joker voice would be a bit jarring.

I'm looking forward to this and I hope WB games can sustain the game quality that Rocksteady established with the first two Batman games. I didn't get AC until a few months ago and its turned out to be one of my favorite games of this generation.

Man, the standing ovation just says it all. Loved Mark Hamill's Joker since the Animated Series days, so I think the character is in good hands.

As for the game, I'm kinda tempted to pre-order it on Steam, but being as it's not by Rocksteady, I'll wait for the reviews. Besides, I've still got the first two games to finish.

I wouldn't call that a Hamill impersonation

I've gone from excited to worried about this. I heard there is a review embargo until the day of release and the recently released video has major lip synching issues. The lips move but the chin and teeth stay very still which looks awful. That shouldn't be happening this late in development.

That's what I thought. Call me paranoid but I'm ever suspicious of those.

I love that the devs are releasing it on Friday AND that it cost me only 37 bucks.

Yay for Friday.

It does indeed kinda hint that they are a bit worried about their game. Confident devs let reviews be released like a few days before the game gets released.

I'm not really worried. I don't expect this game to be a complete new experience, but I don't think it will dissapoint me either.

It's the same over here, it's only £35 when most new releases have crept up from £40 to £43. No idea why, but I'm not complaining.

What about the plot is it as good as city was because that is my main fear for this game.

Here's the review from VideoGamer:

Batman: Arkham Origins - Batman returns... but is that enough?

Hmm, that was a very lukewarm review.  This might be a price drop game for me.

He sounded like he was putting the previous games on a pedestal, but aside from that its natural to feel burnt out after three games that were by large the same.
