And it's confirmed, no Batgirl in A:O. I could definitely see atleast a Barbara Gordon cameo.

I'm looking forward to this and I hope WB games can sustain the game quality that Rocksteady established with the first two Batman games. I didn't get AC until a few months ago and its turned out to be one of my favorite games of this generation.

The Joker is in it but since Mark Hamil retired from the series, Troy Baker is doing the voice.

The game comes out this Friday on Oct 25 which wasn't on my radar even with pre-ordereing it. The Joker is in it but since Mark Hamil retired from the series, Troy Baker is doing the voice. Here's a clip of him doing the voice which is a very solid impersonation of Hamil's work. Since the game is still part of the Arkham series, a different Joker voice would be a bit jarring.

Man, the standing ovation just says it all. Loved Mark Hamill's Joker since the Animated Series days, so I think the character is in good hands.
As for the game, I'm kinda tempted to pre-order it on Steam, but being as it's not by Rocksteady, I'll wait for the reviews. Besides, I've still got the first two games to finish.

I've gone from excited to worried about this. I heard there is a review embargo until the day of release and the recently released video has major lip synching issues. The lips move but the chin and teeth stay very still which looks awful. That shouldn't be happening this late in development.
That's what I thought. Call me paranoid but I'm ever suspicious of those.

It does indeed kinda hint that they are a bit worried about their game. Confident devs let reviews be released like a few days before the game gets released.
I'm not really worried. I don't expect this game to be a complete new experience, but I don't think it will dissapoint me either.

Yay for Friday.
Why only $37?

It's the same over here, it's only £35 when most new releases have crept up from £40 to £43. No idea why, but I'm not complaining.

Mine arrived today, don't worry everyone it's just as good as Arkham Asylum/City
What about the plot is it as good as city was because that is my main fear for this game.

Here's the review from VideoGamer:
Batman: Arkham Origins - Batman returns... but is that enough?

Hmm, that was a very lukewarm review. This might be a price drop game for me.
