althou society is quite indoctrinated into showing fake tolerance towards homosexuality, i sencerely hope that bioware writing team will not hop onto "Trendy" bandwagon and will no longer spread this insanity in their games.

This is the most classless form of trolling. While I often toy with the Rainbow Brigade's "passion" myself, you must be less direct and more ambiguous about it. why start athread like this ? The EA COO has said they won't change their views on the gay and lesbian community so there are going to be those kind of characters in their games and if you don't like that then don't do the gay romances.

It depends on the market and the artistic integrity of the writers. Personally, the only annoying thing for me was Zevran hitting on me and losing approval over gently rejecting him.

I'm fine with whatever Bioware picks, though I hope in the future that in fanfiction, it isn't so hard to find a male PC with a female romance option as it is currently on fanfiction.net. There are so few male!Shepard/Liara fanfictions out there that it gets annoying when I try to find one.

I don't really care about the romances in Bioware games but the 'gay scenes' aren't anymore graphic than the hetero scenes(Atleast I don't think so, never done a gay romance in a bioware game).
