No, I agree with the OP to some extent. I don't like how Bioware will make all characters bisexual in this game, it takes away their character. Like, I wouldn't want a romance with garrus in mass effect if I was playing male shep. Feels too wrong.

But most cultures around the world other than western ones feel disgusted by gays, I'm guessing OP is like them. I am too, I feel that many media forms are trying to hard to tolerate the gay community. Really throws me off.

You know, I still remember when we talked about tolerance at school, and how our teacher was rather adamant that to be tolerant, you needed to tolerate something that you disagreed with. There needed to be some sort of... sacrifice, a willingness to tolerate people no matter how much they might bother you or how much you disagree with them.

If we go by that, I can't tolerate homosexuals. I can't tolerate bisexuals or pansexuals or... you get it.

There's no sacrifice. I don't disagree with them. I simply accept them.

And I guess I'm really not all that tolerant, because I disagree with people being homophobic, discriminating douchebags, and I'm sure as hell not gonna tolerate them.

Thats what im saying. This stuff is being forced upon us. Like with Anders, when not being gay gives you negative points. Straight person should not haveto deal with stuff like that.

Don't like the romance, don't pursue it. Simple. There is zero need to take away the option for someone else who wants to.

It's their game, who are you to tell them who they can or can't romance, simply because you don't like it?

Video game or not, love is love, doesn't matter what sex you are.
