If you're using something with an AoE like the Striker or Falcon with Incendiary ammo, you can take out a couple of Ravagers at a time... or horribly destroy a complete spawn in seconds.

... and I'm not even gonna start on the Drell Adept.

Asari Huntress is OK, but really... not as godlike as you're making out.

I think she's one of the "safer" characters to use. If I'm wary about the players in a Gold PUG, I'll use my Huntress. I know I can play it safe and still do good damage without being concerned about getting mobbed.

This is BSN though, where good characters aren't good because there are other characters that are better.

Pretty much Deerber sums it up. Great character if you're in a match with mediocre player or soloing/duoing. Her killing efficiency is somewhat lacking though if you get a match with a decent player with one of the usual OP classes.

Not entirely true; if you were using DC or biotic explosions as your main source of damage then you may have a point but the huntress is a very deadly weapon weilder too even without weapon damage passives.

I believe she can her main problem is that she is a certified boss killer grenades/recon mines can take out groups mooks faster than most characters in the game and that is where most of the points come from when playing (if that is what your referring to). However when she gets her dark channel chain going she is pretty efficient at taking down mooks too. The warp + warp ammo plus high powered weapon means she can take down a platinum banshee in 1 clip a brute in half a clip. So she has enough DPS to keep up with the aforementioned classes. The other issue she faces is that tech overrides biotics so most of those characters would have a default advantage over her anyway.

Clearly people haven't tried out warp + incendiary on her if they think that GI or TGI kills everything faster. The huntress makes them look like a joke when it comes to killing banshees or praetorians on platinum.

I still think that she's not op though. Doesn't get any bonuses against shields, has to always prime targets before shooting them, and doesn't really have any crowd control

Your right about the shields I also think the biggest balancing aspect of her is her recharge speed on her powers. As for crowd control dark channel + warp biotic explosion chaining is highly effective since if the explosions don't kill targets and those around them it will stagger whomsoever survives.

She's no better weapon wielder than any other class with warp. The only thing which raises her above them is the DoT from DC. And if the game clocks at 15 minutes it's very low.

Honestly, at this point it's better to just pretend Warp has great synergy with fire, it's not like that bug will ever be fixed so we may as well consider it a huge buff to kits with Warp.

Why? Just because it won't be fixed isn't a good reason to exploit it. 

I run warp ammo on most of warp-capable kits as there's actually an intended in-game synergy there. The only warp-capable kit I run incendiary on sometimes is TSent.

No Bioware dev ever told me not to use warp+incendiary so I will keep using it. The synergy is simply divine. :wizard:

[edit] To elaborate, on the Asari Infiltrator it increases the strength of your DoTs.

I'm confused. If I put incendiary ammo on my vakyrie's reegar, prime something with AF, then explode it with warp, then reegar it if it's still alive, am I ~exploiting the bug ?

Actually my question is, when I biotic explode something with warp, is the thing primed with warp ?

Same. And I try my best to detonate the fire explosion as soon as possible, so as not to take too much an advantage from the glitch.

You're the first "noob" I've ever seen that has Warp Ammo IV to burn.  I don't have any Warp Ammo IV, and I do Gold all the time (sometimes even top score if I'm using my Batarian Soldier).
