I'll revive if it's convenient for me, if it's not I'll let cannibals feast on their corpses.

Do you do these kinds of things or do you leave them to die?

I do run across the map to revive them, as long as I feel they are trying to do their best.
If the player doesn't come back near the team after 10 deaths, I will only go if I'm not doing anything else. Also I hate stingy people so if they refuse to gel when they have to, I won't try as much.

I'll try once or twice. If I get shot down while rezzing him, I won't bother anymore. Time spent getting to him is time I could have spent killing enemies.

Lol. If I don't happen to find them on my feet with no enemies around, they'll need to gel.

My criteria for reviving has always been if I feel I can get them up without going down myself. If that's the case, fantastic, I'll revive. But if they're halfway across the map from me (which is fairly common, since I generally like to snipe) then I'll probably leave them unless everyone else is also dead. I also take into account where they are in relation to the other teammates. I'm not going to drop everything and run across the map when there are two other people right next to them.

Pretty much any time OTHER than a hack/escort I will go for the revive. However if it's one of those and they're not with the rest of us then tough, unless they've kiting the bad stuff away because we were about to get overrun.

It is like I said in Biggs thread... ie. if I can reasch them without endangering the objective or myself also, absolutely. I had a pug last night where they kept doing exactly this, Op. I revived the ones I could get to. Beings I was a sniper, I was already Solo-ing on from the darkest corner with the best view...

Bonus points for the Thane quote.

I always kind of wonder if I'm doing something wrong with this.  I like to snipe, that means on the bigger open maps (hydra and rio come to mind) I'm probably going to be back in a corner somewhere, which means I'm not always in the best position to revive.

I almost always revive, I'm not a heavy killer type so I have to do something in order to be doing something for the team, all that's left is support which includes reviving.
However if someone constantly goes down and instead of medigelling lets themselves die over and over I leave them, they're being ****s and I won't help a ****.

Reviving a pugs who's run off alone is a huge gamble and puts the team at risk. I cant help but to feel guilty if I dont revive them. I was with manbearhorselips in a platinum pug in hydra wave 6 HACK. This pug was trying to hold off phantom in the other side of the map. Got dropped 3 times in about 10 seconds and realized the pug wasnt geling so I rushed out of the hack to go save pug and spammed arc nades till pug ran back to the hack.

Your sacrifice will be honored in the coming Empire.:innocent:

But srsly, if you're on the other side of the map on an objective wave, with 2 praetorians and 3 phantoms camping your sorry corpse, you're on your own. Otherwise, I'll at least try reviving you.

If I need them I'll go get them. I can't clutch Gold waves consistently yet, so even worse than running across a map to get a dead guy is knowing that if I don't we may not make it.

Players who don't stick with the team for objectives really ****** me off though, and chances are if they bleed out the team will be okay without them. But I've never seen someone get dropped and not head in their direction; a bad teammate can learn to be a good one by being shown what a good teammate does. Good teammates rez even the most reckless of teammates in hopes that they'll get the hint.

I compulsively revive everyone. I can't help it. Well, I can help it a little, but I have to overcome the urge, which can be difficult.

Seriously, though, is this an asterisk-worthy question?  There should be a poll if there are asterisks. A revival poll. :P

Lol, very difficult to snipe efficienty at close range without quick scoping everything. It cracks me up when sqaudmates always congregate around me (the sniper) which attracts all of the wave budget directly to the me. So, I run off, reposition and start taking out targets. Image IPB

It's circumstantial for me. My default stance is to revive them but if it is going to cause me to go down or get sync killed then I will either delay the revive until it is safer or tell them I can't make it at which point they should medigel.

I usually will revive people almost regardless if I am reasonably sure I can also get out of the situation, and I think my threshold for deciding it's a lost cause is might higher than most. It also usually gets you on good terms with people so they are more likely to help you out.

I'm wary of highly geared/ranked people as they more than anyone have left people to die who would have been easy to save without much/any risk to the mission. Usually then trying to be cool and Rambo it and often get overwhelmed. News for ya buddy, people respect good teamwork than lone wolfing it in a high teamwork oriented game.
