The story writers and the developers are paid disgusting amounts of money for their jobs. So why can't they too make an ending. Part of it is arrogence. I cannot believe that a company would say some of the things bioware EA has said. Their insane lack of respect towards their customers is second to none for a company their size.
The other part that I realized is that at the end, it became incredibly apparent that they have absolutely NO PASSION for this series anymore. It has gone from being a passion to a cashcow for them and it shows. It really shows. The worst part is it isn't just mass effect. Look at awakening and DA2. WTF has happened. How can you expect the customer to be devoted to your product when the developer shows no devotion. If I had to produce something and put my name on it, it would never see the light of day until I was satistfied. My name and my reputation is tied to that product. So why is it that so many games from Bioware fee l rushed and frankly cheap.
I know this horse is not just dead, but came back as a zombie then beat to death again, but they are talking about a new ME and DA game. Their recent DLCs have done NOTHING for the fans, and if anything are an attempt to milk the series that much more.
But there is a reason for this rant. Im not here because I want to hate bioware. The ME trilogy is over, there is nothing that will fix it at this point. I just want a great game again. I want a game where when I finish I sit back and feel like I just did something unique and epic. I want to feel emersed in a Bioware game. I complain because I miss how great their games were.

I'm not sure if it is possible to have a poorer understanding of the working life of someone who works in game design.
Really don't care. The fact that they went with the cheapest, most lazy ending I have ever had the misfortune of playing renders every thing you have to say pointless. If you can stand being lied to, fine. But I had higher standards for my favorite series.

@OP, I fell ya homeslice. I really do. But it's time to probably just forget about BioWare and remember the old BioWare, the company that made ME1, ME2, Baldurs gate, KoTOR, Jade Empire, DA1 and many more great games.
I am I really the only one who played Neverwinter Nights? >_>
Because It was awesome... Sure it got repetative at times but it was a damn fun game and Hordes of The Underdark was fantastic.
And the great fan made modules are just gravy. A Dance With Rogues (despite a poor title) is one of the best things I've ever played.

If you are on PC,try MEHEM. It is not perfect, but for me it saved ME universe.
Shepard deserved at least ONE ending in the light of MEHEM.
I'm not thrilled with the official endings but they don't bother me THAT much..I can still enjoy the game.
I use MEHEM now and as far as I'm concerned it's the ONLY ending....I could uninstall it and still play the game just fine..I'm not that bothered by the endings..but MEHEM gives Shepard more of a proper and respectful send off than the official ones.

nope, I've played it. Good game. I think I havent' played it since 2003ish. I wonder if it's on steam, lol. Maybe I'll boot it up for old times sake. Not sure if my 660ti can handle those amazing visuals tho, I might need to upgrade.
