I'm not saying Condor is my favorite map (because it's not even close), but I haven't seen anything overly horrible on it yet.

Also, I was never really sure what the "hazard" was on Giant Night. I mean, ok, a bit darker perhaps. But a hazard, not really. Anyone else know?
One of the BioWare guys said that it was originally as dark as the flashlight sections of the SP, but that ultimately it ended up not being very fun because you were often being killed by something you couldn't see.
The screen also shakes when the guns fire, which would be a slight hazard to snipers if there wasn't already so much screen shake from everything else in the game that we pretty much didn't even notice the guns firing anyway.

Least Favourite : Glacier Hazard ... I ... HATE ... the electro-bees so very, very much... adding them to the map that was already my least favourite (yeah, I don't like Glacier) was... yeah. Mind, on any kind of open map the bees would be far less of an issue.

Heh - I actually put in the comment box on the survey "Condor isn't as bad as everyone makes out" ... I don't mind it (apart from the stuck on the loading screen glitch) - they ironed out most of the bugs and I like the bombed out battlefield look. The glitchy ammo boxes suck but hey - I've probably still got 255 Themal Clip Packs.
I never really got the hatred for Condor - as long as you keep moving it's not a bad map IMO *shrugs* ... unless you're playing as a Vorcha.

I never noticed that off-host and when your shields are down, the screenshake continues.

The loading screen glitch still happens, the invisible enemys, crappy ammo boxes. Bad layout overall, the LZ is completely open with no cover apart from the one stupid box container. All that combined just makes it harder than it honestly needs to be.

Anyways, I left comments on a couple of the maps and went with Firebase White (Whiteout) as my favorite. It's grenade friendly, has good cover options, and is decent for just about any gameplay style.

Ye-es ... and there used to be even more glitches, random lag spikes, crashes and I can't even remember what else. The loading screen glitch is the worst though, that's the most common... rarely encounter invisible enemies any more (had it like once in the last four months). Ammo crates are crap, agreed, but it's not like anyone is ever going to run out of Thermal Clip Packs.
Personally, I have no problems with the layout... good map for snipers or running and gunning, none of the objectives are too horrible (nothing like getting a 1,2,3,4 on Jade or Dagger or that Upload on Goddess... or the one on London) even getting an Upload objective at the LZ (or anywhere else on that map) isn't as bad as some objectives on other maps. Otherwise, cover at the LZ doesn't really matter ... it's not like you're camping there on extraction right? ... right?
The only real problem it poses, for difficulty, is if you're playing as a CQC class against Geth or Collectors, it's easy to get sniped and taken down by Primes/Scions ... or if you get an upload objective where Praetorians/Banshees can close on you all-too quickly. You can certainly hit the "resort to missiles" panic button on those waves.
At least you don't get points where things can literally drop down on your head as they spawn (still invincible for a second) or shoot you from off the map (Gacier, Ghost, Reactor and Giant), you don't get points where you fall out-of-bounds (still happens on Rio and Dagger occasionally) and there are basically no points where a Banshee can jump through a wall and instantly synch-kill you (White, Rio, Giant and Glacier being prime culprits)... you can just keep circling around on Condor, murdering everything as you go... there is pretty much no excuse for being synch-killed on that map (Upload objectives notwithstanding).
I actually find it generally easier than Glacier, way less annoying than Glacier Hazard, no more buggy than Rio (and it doesn't have the really long Drone escorts that Rio has), prettier than White or Dagger and just generally ... alright. It's not a great map but I still don't really get the hatred for it.
That's just me though - lots of people have said they like Glacier and I really don't like that map, so I don't really expect anyone to agree with me on Condor.

i found it hard to choose but voted for hydra (and no, not because i use the glitch to leave the map!). I complained about Condor bugs and said it should have been removed from MP, and about the effect FBW hazard has on krogan rage or geth hunter mode. I did praise the epic vistas on maps like hydra and rio, and the easter egg details of Vancouver. Least favourite map is glacier hazard :-/

No, that's just the shields dropping. That's a wierd glitch though. I do get the corresponding *ping* noise, but the only thing that happens is the screen goes red.
