I was sheltered as a child so I didn't play the demo. The first mod I unlocked was the pistol scope. I remember that I felt like a headshot machine with my Predator III. Oh, those were the days...

lol I finished playing insanity single player and thought I was badass so I went to the MP and set up a platinum lobby with my human soldier avenger 1 thinking that it would be nothing. Luckily I was on the PS3 a friendlier bunch of folk let me slide with them. I had the shock of my life the banshees were all over me but we extracted (volus adept squadmate) Reapers Ghost.

Now all I play is platinum (soloed it the other day) and I do let the occasional noob in just so they can get the money to buy some good stuff. I remember that I got the piranah and the vorcha soldier with my first PSP that was a really good combo.

Lol, yeah this was one of them.

I remember in Firebase White I just stayed on the ladder part (the one near the ammo box with a corridor descending down below) and I never explored the map since looking at Firebase Ghost (which was big for me) I thought I would get lost, even in objective waves I stayed there lol.

Very first attempts at MP. Soloing dagger using the human soldier with the predator, hiding behind cover trying to get past wave 3 on bronze, never could. Had 0 consumables due to never getting any credits..

From the demo, starting a solo bronze with a level 1 Vanguard. Hung out at the LZ thinking that was the most defensible place on FB White.

Thinking Bronze was hard and usually wiping during waves 5 - 7.

This.. I got kicked from several gold games not knowing it was dumping me into what was then the hardest difficulty with an n7 rating under 20. I also remember thinking silver was hard at the time.
