I searched Google and the forums for this and came up empty.
The message I am setting for the KeyRequiredFeedbackMessage is not being displayed. It just says, "this door is locked" or whatever the default message seems to be.
What's the trick here?

Have you also set the 'key required' flag to true?

Aye. Key required to true, door locked.
There's no script for the OnClick event... doors seem to get created with no scripts really attached. Am I missing a script for this to work?

If you've populated the feedback message with text and set the 'key required' flag to true, then you should be getting your custom text displaying whenever a rogue tries (unsuccessfully) to pick the lock.
Are you testing with a rogue, or just rattling the locked door with a non-rogue character? If the latter, then chances are you'll only get the standard message. The only way non-rogues could see it might be via an OnFailToOpen script, which will trigger if a non-rogue just rattles the door OR if a rogue tries to pick it.

Okay - so I was missing something :-) Figured that had to be the case.
I didn't know that message only appeared for rogues trying to pick the lock.
I have a cave entrance that is warded so that characters can't enter. The necromancer in the dungeon has the ward stone that allows access. The PC party exits through this entrance, but I figured if they want to go back in through this manner (in case there's something they forgot to loot), as long as they had the ward stone they could get back in (plus it makes sense - the necromancer uses it as his way in and out).
I wanted a message to display when any character tried to open the door.
I'm sure a short script will work then. I'll just put an OnClick script in and have it float text and send a message to the chat window.
Thanks DannJ
