I grew up in the 60's and 70' s just listening to RockN' Roll. I tried listening to all the other kinds of music and found it not worth listening to.
If I am not listening to rock, I listen to classical. It keeps me calm.

As for songs that were supposed to be good but were really bad...I'm not sure. The ones that stand out for me are uncharacteristically bad songs by bands that I actually like, e.g. "Miami" by U2 or "Hairshirt" by R.E.M. I'm sure I've heard considerably worse songs than those, but I just don't remember them.

I know it's a recent one, but it has to be Rebecca Black's 'Friday'. It's one of the most grating, inane, songs ever to assail the ears of mankind. The chorus literally just repeats itself over and over AND OVER AND OVER....it is literally painful to just listen to. The subject matter of the song is awful, 'It's Friday hence I've got to party with my friends, and in case you didn't catch what day it is, it's Friday, that's right, it is indeed Friday, not the other days of the week,' I don't even think the singer is supposed to be that bad but somehow, the song itself is just beyond monotonous.

Too many to list, but You Spin Me Round probably is one of the ones I hate the most, because I just can never get it out of my head when my mind starts going stream of consciousness/train of thought and eventually comes to that song.

I mean, You Spin Me Right Round is a song I can never get out of my head, and I'm just not sure if the song I found horrible that my friend posted on my facebook to kinda... not troll me but just give me a good laugh was that one or some other song with a guy that gave me the creeps by his appearance the first time I saw it. But certainly, it's horrible. Just... horrible. It's a massive Ear Worm that enters So Bad, It's Good territory.

And for some reason, Sylvius the Mad's avatar strikes me as the guy from that video anytime I see it.

Horrible song. Hmm that song that people call Dubstep. It gives me a headache (no joke) each time I listen to it. So that's why I'm not going on youtube looking for it.

Edit: Mousestalker! Those links left me in physical pain. I'm going to listen to some good music.
