Yep, I was never really not at peace with it. The ending was pretty lame, but the CDLC is something to play towards in my opinion.
That's not to say Bioware games are an automatic purchase for me though. I judge each release on it's merits before I buy it.

That's fine, but I'm asking why cut off Bioware because of one title, what if a future title peaks your interest? For me, it was SWTOR, ME3 and not really DA II, but I saw the direction they were headed.
Is it the "will they deliever" on this and stay honest with their consumers that bugs you?
A hard won ending is what pleases me as a consumer, and neither a nice
road with a crappy ending, or a crappy road with a disney ending do it
for me, if anything both are insulting.
So yes, I simply dont trust they will deliver.
The bait and switch has been done, so in the unlikely event they come with another jewel of a game, I dont trust them not to do it again.

Becoming so invested in something like a video game that you're still upset about the ending is weird to me. People should be way over it by this point. There's too many good games out there you can be playing to really be caring about this.
Some are just too invested in their virtual relationships in their Gears clone "RPG" I'm afraid.

Pretty much. Those should be treated be treated as nice diversions at best and completely pointless at worse. And it's kind of easy to make a case that they actually were pointless. There's no narrative significance in these romances.Seboist wrote...

NO no I was saying a facepalm to those games lol
But those games aren't the only issue. SR3 falls within the same category.
They are too unstable, too costly to make vs what they bring it. The push ever lasting of better and better and better graphics on a short development scale makes games a sink or swim scenario. They have to sell more and more and more copies than ever before because their graphic department is eating a huge part of their development cost.
SR2 with its depth, and features allow for cheaper production. More stable financial future.

You do things TOO quickly and you eventually tumble and fall, you do them too slow and you never grow.
Depth should be first, and graphics second
Or
Graphics first, Depth Second.
The problem is when a company decides, Graphics first and only; whatever energy we have left we use for depth. Then it gets too expensive.
