Becoming so invested in something like a video game that you're still upset about the ending is weird to me. People should be way over it by this point. There's too many good games out there you can be playing to really be caring about this.

Some are just too invested in their virtual relationships in their Gears clone "RPG" I'm afraid.

Pretty much. Those should be treated be treated as nice diversions at best and completely pointless at worse. And it's kind of easy to make a case that they actually were pointless. There's no narrative significance in these romances.

TBH there should've been

I agree. It probably wouldn't have been too difficult to design certain outcomes around the romance as well to add some importance to them. Tali and Miranda's romances easily could've had some narrative importance in ME3 considering how important Cerberus and the Geth/Quarian War are..

Tthe Mr.Freeze romance sub-plot of Batman: TAS > all BW "romances" (which are casual hook ups at best)

and there isn't any gameplay benefit to these "romances" like in Skyrim or Persona either.

Like if you romanced Miranda you could be able to use her on the Cerberus HQ mission or something close to that

Then what do you think it was then?

NO no I was saying a facepalm to those games lol

But those games aren't the only issue. SR3  falls within the same category.

They are too unstable, too costly to make vs what they bring it. The push ever lasting of better and better and better graphics on a short development scale makes games a sink or swim scenario. They have to sell more and more and more copies than ever before because their graphic department is eating a huge part of their development cost.

SR2 with its depth, and features allow for cheaper production. More stable financial future.

Have they said how they are going to blance it out?
Because I would every much want to see DOW 3 with a XV104 Riptide battlesuit....

One of those THQ "fixes" better have Metro 2033 in there somewhere.

Is that game any good?
(Because I have never played it before).

Setting, music, story, graphics are all amazing, but from what I remember, the combat was a bit shoddy.

It was a while ago that I played it, so that issue may have been fixed by patches and/or modders.

No, you're still on the money, but the positives you listed greatly outweigh the mild gameplay negatives.

yes. combat and stealth are bit shoddy (one guard alerted --> all guards alerted). But definitely worth playing.

Those problems are apparently sorted in the upcoming sequel.

Satisfied? No.
Over it? Yes, very much.

Buy more BioWare products? Nope.
