 I had bought DA:O Delux from Steam that supposedly came with Warden's Keep, Shale's quest, Blood Dragon armor, etc.

In-game, there is no Sulcher's Pass, Levi, or armor. I looked at the DLC and there's nothing under the three tabs. I followed the unofficial FAQ guide and ran services.msc, then started Dragon Age: Origins - Content Updater and got the following error message:
"Could not start the Dragon Age: Origins - Content Updater service on Local Computer.
Error 1053: The service did not respond to the start or control request in a timely fashion."

The other steps in the guide didn't work either.. I couldn't even find the Framework at all!

You could try this beta fix and see if that helps resolve your problems with the updater service.



I've also heard people have problems with the service starting if they're running on a non-C: drive, or moved their game files without doing a full reinstall.

Thanks, that worked! But it wants me to buy the content now. I bought the Delux version that says it comes with Warden's Keep and Shale.. am I missing something?

Have you redeemed your codes? I believe the deluxe steam version comes with one code that you redeem to get all the free content.
