Yes, please. Nothing annoys me more as someone who is a stat freak to find out this awesome helm I have looks horrible but instead have to opt to not use one.
Will it be possible to have a toggle helmet on/off option?

It's already there:
From what I remember, this turn off your helmet completely, during battle and cut scenes.

I support a option to keep helmets on during conversations.
It annoys me to no end how when I have this awesome helmet, but then it just disappears during the time I'm most likely to actual have a chance to look at it.
Imagine of someone like Judge Dredd took off his helmet every time he had a chat with the villain of the week.
It would be annoying to say the least.

I am pretty sure this will be in, but i also hope, that mages won't have a condom hats... seriously that thing must never ever return.

Not quite the same. I don't want to hide it all the time, just in cutscenes.
