They don't have to stay in the LZ. They can stay in proximity or even stay afar and start moving a bit earlier. Anyways with pugs I try to stick with the Juggernaut and help him move if he's not being silly. If the LZ is getting flooded and the Juggernaut doesn't try to move, I don't commit suicide with him. With friends, well it's different because I can trust that they know what they are doing. Most of the time.

I don't understand Juggies that aren't mobile. I've only played the kit a few times myself, had to solo a couple of waves of a gold PUG, its easy to stay alive if you use soft cover and proper positioning and stay moving.

extraction.
won't camp it, even for Juggernauts.

they should leave with about 35-40 seconds on the clock nuking anything in their way. everyone will understand, and it's a free pass on extraction nuke spree.

Best one i have seen was someone telling the juggernaut player that he wont make it in time.

Hes like watch me, does a 180 and moonwalks to the LZ at an impressive rate.

Juggernauts pretty much run when walking backwards lol.

Jugs gotta wait like the rest...just not as long. give an extra 10-15 and take a path other than the one your team mates will take. Often splits the enemies and the Jug still gets in with time and health. AND DON"T use heavy Melee it takes up tons of valuable time.

Normally 30 seconds is when I start looking to move to the LZ with the goal of hitting it at 15 seconds. That is not with the jug.

With the jug I double that. I start disengaging and moving towards it at 69 seconds and hit it at 30 seconds. Being slow, a huge target and unable to dodge or run really come into pkay when needing to get past things. As I am getting to the LZ early I expect some heat but am equipped for it. Level 6 in fitness and 3 in sheilds, flamer turret, DR seige pulse 6, Juggernaught 5 and hvy barrel Omniblade crusader means I can usually go 30 seconds in even the nastiest melee and standing at the edge of the LZ helps put my team mates by taking the brunt of the attack.

I laugh as they get swarmed and start cursing over the mic.

When with a team that's holding an area not at Extraction, I get on the mic, "40 seconds. Juggernaut, go ahead and start walking to Extract."

And to everyone else 20 seconds later, "20 seconds, guys, let's roll."

and when with a random pug Jugg who was already at LZ when wave 11 started?

I actually... didn't want to mention that. Image IPB

LOL youre not hte only one, people keep posting what they do when THEY are the jug, not what to do when they have a Jug team mate who is in LZ at start of wave 11.

At the end of wave 10, I do call out, "let's hold building/farcorner/whateverawayfromExtractionZone."  If FB:Rio, "Wave 11.  Ah, time to check myself into the box of shame." Image IPB

Anyway, what ends up happening is this.  When that stray Juggernaut goes down, I will run to, and revive, and then run back to the area (away from Extraction) I'm trying to hold.

Rinse and repeat, as applicable.

My team.  My responsibility. Image IPB

Someone else might have gotten it wrong. :P

If I have a decent team and I'm a Juggernaut, I'll camp extraction depending on the map. If the team runs away, most of the enemies are aggroing to me anyways, so I just heavy melee spam until the team starts running back. When they've almost made it, I'll normally use a rocket to clear a path. Not much different than running from extraction on any other character. I like expending rockets. Also, if I go down, odds are I still have most, if not all, my medigel left. So I'll insta-revive.

But lately I have been going away from extraction. My 3 team mates go off somewhere, I throw a turret at them, aggro some of the big guys, and start walking to extraction slowly the long way. Then when I'm almost at extraction I'll just be damage sponge until about 10 seconds, and rush my big butt into extraction.

Also, when I have a jug teammate it really depends on how good they've done the whole match.  Normally I'll sit within sight of LZ to pick off enemies from afar.
