Would you like to see Felicia Day return for DAI?

She'll be back in Dragon Age but whether or not its going to be DA:I or say an anime or web series or comic i can't say.
She's not the worst companion I can think of to return though she should have a damn good reason to be back otherwise what's the point of bringing her back compare to others.
I don't mind if she's back really and it'd be interesting to see how she and leliana know one another but if she spends most of the time talking about the Qunari then don't bring her back.

No. I can't stand her character. Sten says in Origins that women of the Qun don't fight, the Arishok says in DA2 that Fenris should not suggest he fight a woman.
To see some elven woman appear out of nowhere and single-handedly save the day multiple times while preaching about the Qun just bothered the sh*t out of me. It's like BioWare just threw the religion/culture out the window for this pointless DLC. I don't want any more rule-benders in Dragon Age. Protagonist included.

I really loved Tallis. I'm also a huge fan of Felicia Day, and was so pleased to see her in my favorite video game series. I hope she'll be in a future installment of the series.

^ What Gaider wants could very well entail not bringing Tallis back, of course.

A nasty boy with boils. You really want Ninja Stan to close this thread. That's the way you're headed . If you don't like Tallis aka Felicia Day that's Using stupid language like you just did will get the thread closed.

I wouldn't mind if they brought her back at some point in the series.
I would prefer it if they did bring her back to the video game series that they redo her character design. Felicia human face pasted on an Elf body was just weird and brought me out of the fantasy setting.

Who said I don't like Tallis?
I usually let the filter handle my obscenity for me, for some reason it let me down this time. Oops. :innocent:

If people dislike Tallis and don't want to play a game that features her, why should they get over their animosity for this Qunari?

Sure, why not?

Wouldn't mind.
As long as she doesn't "assume direct control" of the story again. MotA felt more like Tallis's story and Hawke was just along for the ride.

You assume people who post here are DA fans.
Gaider is the head writer, Darrah and Laidlaw involved in producing and directing the game.
They make the game they want to make, regardless of what we fans. If Day is in DAI it's because they want her in if. If you don't like her and the game allows your character to kill her then do so .Kill her and have done with it. Bioware might decide to retcon her back to life for DA4, if there is a DA4, but that's a long ways away from now. shrugs.

I hope they bring her back, MotA was an awesome DLC, the only negative to it was you couldn't keep Tallis as a teammate beyond the DLC itself. Tallis in DAI would more than make up for that
. I do agree it would be nice if you could do more to show Tallis where she's going wrong, and help point her in the right direction, you got a 'bit' of that in the DLC but more would've been nice. But for the most part her character was super fun and cool and it would be awesome to have her around in DAI.

Yes, shame on me for not liking a character because her purpose conflicts with the story's lore. How dare I want a game that stays true to its various cultures and mythology, I can't even believe the nerve of me sometimes.
In all seriousness Tallis is welcome to come back as soon as she is modified to actually fit in with the story, not bend the laws of Thedas.
If not, no, I won't get over it. Her entire character is a plot hole.

At this point, the companions are already decided, so getting excited about it one way or another isn't going to help. Not sure if they could add in a cameo if they hadn't already done so, but I'm not sure they would bother paying for four hours recording time for an incidental cameo included only to appease fans. That's the minimum set forth by the actor's union... if Ms. Day is a member. Not saying they wouldn't do it! Just saying that if they did include her, they would probably be doing it because they felt she was relevant in some way, not because fans demanded it.
Mr. Gaider's comments bothered me at the time and they continue to do so. Any time you make a statement that begins with "All the [player group] who [hate/love] [something] only do so because of [sweeping generalization]," whatever generalization is invoked, it's going to be wrong. Syllogi (apologies for spelling errors) and I are both female, but we both dislike Tallis for different reasons, neither of which have anything to do with jealousy. She dislikes the railroading. I dislike how other characters are belittled and made to look foolish so that Tallis can have all the good lines. We aren't saying that we begrudge the opportunity for another character to be sexy and appealing. Hells, Isabela is my second favorite female character in any video game ever (following Mazzy and tied with Dynaheir), and Syllogi has never posted anything about judging a character based on appearance that I have ever seen. We object to the implementation. I won't presume to speak for anyone else here, but I would not mind Tallis nearly as much if other characters got equal time in the spotlight. I like to think that the writers are aware of this imbalance on an objective level, and that any broad accusations of player spite and pettiness were nothing more than understandable defense of the writing team. I wouldn't allow outsiders to talk smack about my coworkers, either. I hope that future reappearances will be fairer to both the protagonist and his or her companions, but I have always been an optimist.

Heh. Never said that I wouldn't kill her, if the option was available. Only saying that jealousy is not the only reason to dislike a character.
Who knows? If an effort was made to balance her with the other characters - you know, let her lose a banter every once in a while - my feelings toward her might change considerably. It has happened before.

I don't think she'd need to be a companion if she came back. In fact it'd probably be more interesting if she wasn't. She can just be a character with her own side's agenda, like Meredith or Thrask or Orsino. Maybe with more possible fates than those three.

I only purchased Dragon Age II to play through Felicia Day's story - I guess a lot of you didn't like Tallis, and are not particular fans of how her character fits into Dragon Age. I haven't had a chance to play it, but I will probably enjoy it.
I certainly doubt she deserves to be compared with the Jessica Chobot issue. I'm one of the few people who liked Allers, it was alright. She really didn't deserve all the personal attacks (that for some reason, continue even after she pretty much left the industry) from so-called fans.
I really would like a return of Felicia Day in one form or another. She's a really awesome icon of geek culture, and having her interested in these games is awesome.
