Tallis ruins my immersion and I really dislike the fact that I can do nothing but let her walk off.

I don't generally advocate killing characters just because I don't like them, but Tallis is an exception. I would murder knife her in an instant and not feel bad about it at all. Or, you know, just give me the option to totally ignore her, like I can choose to ignore Sebastian in DA2.

I want Tallis to return because I'd like another chance to kill her. My Hawke had no sympathy left for Qunari, and certainly not Qunari spied- but noooooo!!!! We can't kill Felicia Day's character.

Heck no. I'm totally against self inserts in games and companies selling games or DLC by having someone they think fanboys/fangirls will cream themselves for in their products. I do not see the appeal for her or any other famous person. Can't we just let games be innocent games?
I get it, she's a girl that plays games and does some acting. I'm a girl and like many other of my gender we play games and are damn good at it. Big deal? Both Redemption and MOTA were terrible. I'm ashamed to even say that I bought the DLC and watched a few minutes of the web show. I wish that the money used for her stuff went into the planned expansion instead because DAII definitely didn't need her involved to make it better... it got much worse instead. She didn't bring anything that a normal NPC in the game could have done.

So no, I don't want her to return in any way, not even as a cameo. But considering how bad the DLC ended I fear that they will put her in there somewhere in DA:I... I just hope it's a short scene and that's it because frankly, I don't feel for the character or the real person because she ruined a big part of my immerson and enjoyment. I just want to move on and forget everything about this nightmare. I just have to pray to the Maker that she will not be a big part of the franchise.

Having too many camoes in every game makes it really tedious, I didn't really like how many we saww in DAII etc. Feels like such a small world.

Her name isn't a name but a title like the Qunari gives, if Tallis is mentioned why not another Tallis? How many Tallis do the Qunari have?

I bought the DLC for the hunting and party. I couldn't have fun hunting and enjoying the party because she kept nagging me all the time about her quest.
Besides the exaggerated acrobatics it's a wonder she's an assassin. If she was a former circus performer recently turned assassin it would've made it more believable and bearable.

People have done that. It lead to some controversy when he gave his two cents on why women didn't like Tallis.

The problem with her in that role is that i know things about her that the PC doesn't. So you are at risk of metagaming. As after experiencing how pampered and coddled,Tallis was i am very jaded towards that character. The get out of jail card with her is for the PC who has dealt with her to return as well. But as long as she is optional it won't be a problem as i can avoid that character.

I dont care about Felicia Day (though shes cute), but Tallis annoys the heck out of me. She is supposed to be a Qunari enforcer who kills dissidents because Qun demands it but in the same time she is sooo kind and good hearted??
My apostate blood mage Hawke wanted to fry her from the moment he knew what she was. Instead he ended up trolled.

Edit: Ah, she was the Brotherhood chick in New Vegas and some chick in the expansion pack for DA 2 (didn't buy it). Well she did good work in New Vegas, and if she's cheap, has passion for it then sure why not?

No worries. They can just pull an Anders, where the character you thought you knew is shattered and destroyed, so it doesn't even matter. Gone is the joking, fun guy from Awakening... in is the tortured, moody fanatic. If anything, meta-gaming HURT the experience there, because we knew who Anders USED to be.

i'd love to, Tallis is a awesome character, funny, not completely incompetent and being Qunari gets her extra awesome points...and she's an assasin, which makes her even better

Chracter-wise, I guess she was fine, but they definitely have to do something about that plot immunity where it seems like they don't want you to do anything about her because of her voice actor or her role in another part of the series. I really blame the devs and quest designers for MoA for that more than anything. If she came back more as Veronica from New Vegas where she doesn't seem to have plot immunity, I'd be fine with it I guess.
