OP, if you're seriously bummed by the PUGs you've been getting, we all understand.  If you want to play with higher caliber / friendly players, we understand.  Everything you want can easily be accomplished by doing one thing:

If you want friendly / helpful teammates, you have to reciprocate.  Your OP suggests that you have an attitude most would not welcome.  I'm sure you didn't mean to come across as an arrogant ******, but hey... it happened.  Change your post to reflect the attitude you expect from your teammates and I'm sure you'll find a welcoming group to support you.  Heck, I just asked for help on grinding some bronze waves to quickly finish a character (200 waves) achievement.  The next thing I knew, members from Team Arelex were jumping in my party ready to rip those cannibals a new one!  (Thanks!)

Here is some feedback, take what you want, leave the rest at the door, your mileage may vary.

In this thread I never once mentioned your GT http://social.biowar...1918/3#16524429 however since you decided to call me out, it's always good for readers to have the facts.

A perfect game as you defined it is extraction using no consumables at all (to me a bronze/silver tactic), that is not how I define it, consumables are there for a reason, used when needed to support the team and make the match as smooth as possible.

Playing gold and using no gear to me is not respectful to the team, gear is there for a reason, on gold DPS becomes important, platinum very important. Some see gear at this level as a crutch and some players, very few in my travels are good enough to say that.

If someone is going to present themselves as a judge of others, I would like to think they would educate friends they may play with often how the game is played, bringing friends into gold plus when they have no consumables, may be encouraged to not even use them with this goal of a perfect game or a level one kit is simply not the way I play or does it represent the type of players I run with daily.

I see a perfect game or a good game as one where everyone had fun in the match, no one player should have the responsibility of carrying a team unless it is understood going in, which in this case it wasn't. I help many from BSN enter higherlevels and we have a great time, sure I carry some and it doesn't matter, I thought the post was about finding quality players, I was curious.

While score is not the end all by any means, when scores are close it tells me the team put in a team effort, when the difference between 1st and second is 100,000 +++, dunno, could be just me but something is wrong and in a co-op game something within the team is not balanced, but once again that is my position.

Since you called me out on the Rio game vs Geth, let's stick to the facts, your friends asked why I was so quiet, well as I said I was focused on staying alive and killing, had your friends brought consumables it would have helped ease the pain, had they used gear it would have increased their ability to put out DPS rather than leaving it to a level 20 character, bringing a level one kit into gold is fine in some hands, I play with a lot of people, few can do it and be a contribution to the team, a level 1 Paladin is not one of them, a kit that has DPS directly generated from his level.

Running to the LZ as I stated in the Rio match is a death wish, yes you made it with a level 12, congrads, you see I like getting to wave 11 also, the fact that I had to be the only one to use missles in wave 10 so that the team could get paid left me with nothing in wave 11. So yes I went down with 28 seconds left as I tried to run to the LZ, you see the difference here again is friends I run with would have dropped a rocket without thinking and we would have gone together, but then again saving all consumables does not represent the friends I run with. And yes I was out of gel, very, very rare for me however I do not camp the centre of Rio unless it's a very strong team, so I was never close to the centre, I suppose I could have played this as a solo and ensured I had consumables left for wave 11 but I put everything out to ensure we even made it that far.

I would also add 32 to 36 min gold matches are getting close to a record time for me, I can do platinum pugs in 27 or less, gold is in the low 20's when the team is somewhat balanced.

If you are having issues with PUGS, it may be an idea to take a look at how a perfect game is defined, you see to me using even level one is a sign of support and respect to the team, it's that simple.

So, OP you might want to add to your initial post how you see the matches being played out, I am trying to be objective, level headed and offer a kind reply, just some food for thought. I will tell you those were two of the hardest gold games I have played and I have a few thousand completed.

Everyone should play as they want, when doing a shout out for players, give the reader a little better insight so they know what they are getting into.

I definitely want a game with OP after reading that Mustang. The stipulation will be that I get to bring a friend that can record the game and we post video to BSN after.

@OP: I have never once even played with Mustang and can tell he is a fairly nice person based on the majority of his post. Insulting a player of his "reputation" isn't something you should really consider doing around here unless you want to end up looking foolish. I won't mind carrying you for a game or 2, we can even add some stipulations to the games if that is the way you roll (IE no consumable, etc).

From what Mustang has to say (a man whose word I trust) I don't think I'd want to play with a Rio Camper, who doesn't use gear/consumables and is basically a glorified leech.

100k more than second place? Really LazerAK? Really? For shame...

If you were half as good a teammate as you claim you are, you would've used rockets to save Mustang, especially if there was 25+ seconds left. I know I would have... but no... you're one of "those guys" who hoards rockets b/c he doesn't get many from PSPs b/c he can't be assed to by Jumbo packs.

Wow, do you know how hard you have to work at sucking to make Mustang write that?!?! Mustang is one of the nicest players I know, and is always about helping the team have fun and mentoring players looking to improve their game.

You just come off as an over bearing control freak douche bag, OP. You do not pass my evaluation for consideration of a formal application to play a qualification round with me.
