From what Mustang has to say (a man whose word I trust) I don't think I'd want to play with a Rio Camper, who doesn't use gear/consumables and is basically a glorified leech.
100k more than second place? Really LazerAK? Really? For shame...
If you were half as good a teammate as you claim you are, you would've used rockets to save Mustang, especially if there was 25+ seconds left. I know I would have... but no... you're one of "those guys" who hoards rockets b/c he doesn't get many from PSPs b/c he can't be assed to by Jumbo packs.
Lol, so the OP is essentially a glorified Leecher and scrub. Nice!
Urgh, Rio. If the OP plays regular Rio matches he's not going to make it on PuG Platinum Unknown, Unknown. I don't think he makes the cut, sorry OP you're out.
I've run into Mustang once in a random match, great player. Even when he was using the Collector Adept shortly after it came out, beat everyone.
Then it's too bad you weren't there for my Plat/Unknown/Unknown with Modius. I played the Batarian Sentinel because no one else could be bothered to play an "incap" class (Engie and Trooper with a Kroguard that quit halfway through). We didn't win because I was the last person alive for two waves in a row and had used all my rockets to save my teammates.
You wonder why I don't use consummables. Because of my team. I rarely play with people capable of being the "Last man standing". My characters are usually speced for guerilla tactics because I believe the best defense is to simply not be there when enemies show up. This is why I don't use consummables. I don't NEED to. If I find myself at a disadvantage, I'm not against using them. If I can kill well enough without them, why use them?
...
While a player that can demolish enemies is a good player, teammates who fill the niche that the others cannot are equally valuable. So no, he didn't "carry" me, I fulfilled my duty as Specialist.

Let's begin.
You were playing a Batarian Sentinel and calling it an incapacity class.... Riiiiight. That's a terrible thing to say. Submission net on Platinum is largely worthless as most of the enemies just ignore it, shockwave is more a hassle than it's worth and Blade armour, well unless you are going for damage reduction, why would you ever use it for melee damage returned as almost every enemy on Platinum is capable of sync killing you. Fail.
Incapacity class my arse. A human Adept can play an "incapacity" class with singularity, but it's more useful doing massive singularity detonations in bottle necks and debuffing everything in reach with Warp. That's how you play a support class on Platinum.
Engineer and trooper, which ones? If you mean, the Talon merc. or the Geth Trooper. Those characters are powerhouses, why would you need someone to incapacitate 1 enemy. If you mean demolisher. Incapacity not required. None of the Soldiers need somone to hold enemies in place for them as they deal incredibly high DPS, with the exception of the Havoc, While engineers for the most part debuff prime status effects.
The Batarian sentinel adds nothing to this nor does your play style, it's a bad one, and you should feel bad.
I spec my characters for guerilla too. I kill everything with a Geth Infiltrator and a Black widow X or Javelin V from the other side of the map, or kill them all as soon as they start to spawn. I don't need more than 3 ranks of fitness on a GI, because everything's dead before it reaches me, and if it does, I'm not there and I kill it form somewhere else. And I still use consumables to Kill an Banshee on Platinum in 6 shots.
If you don't use them you're a leech and a scrub. You will never come close to approaching the damage I can deal out with any of my favoured kits. From the GI and Drell, to the Turian Sol and sentinel. Drell dept, Fury, Human sol. TGI, Batarian Sol., Slayer Drell vanguard. Geth Troopers and engineer. What you've essentiall done is mask your epic failure with a tactic. You won't kill as effectively and you don't NEED them, because before you do it everything else is dead. Killed by players like me and the rest of the players from the BSN, some of whom can wipe the floor with me.
You were carried. And by the sounds of it. If you could solo a Platinum Wave you wouldn't need to be carried, and would have completed your U/U/P game. In addition, an AIU as a medic *facepalm*
