Delay between ability/damage/potion use and game affect
#1

I have no clue how to even go about describing this aside from say what I just did and how it is like the abilities are lagging when the game isn't, although this does appear worse on larger fights. To describe it better, sometimes seconds elapse between drinking a potion and the health gain or swing and damage, etc.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I agree that this may be tied to the memory leak. I experience this problem mainly in large areas especially after an hour or so of gameplay. What really annoys me is that enemy damage doesn't seem affected by the lag; in one encounter, an elite shriek annihilated my party even though I dealt more than enough damage to kill it several times over. Basically, the damage dealt by my party suffered from lag, but the damage dealt by the shriek was unaffected.
Exactly and it is very odd that it the enemies aren't equally affected.
This does make some fights very hard and some very annoying when you know you can two shot the Gelnock's (sp?) but you are swining for 1 minute wih 4 people.

The worst is deffinitely how there is a delay between potion and effect so somtimes, even though you can't drink two in a row, my character will just chain drink them and it will brun through 2-5+ potions with them all taking affect seconds later in rapid effect.

Not us. But you do. You have bogged down an inadequate (miles below minimum) video device with an excessive demand on output, both too many displays and far too many pixels, so of course it can't work correctly.Three months ago, AcetylLumi wrote...

(For some reason, Bioware has now attracted a larger share than usual of total noobs, wanting to games with low quality semi-garbage video cards. Here's the lineup of those "No-Go" parts {ranked in reverse order of ineptitude - best is first, worst is last, and Intel, naturally, isn't in the running at all}):
HD 3470 > 9400 GT > 8500 GT > HD 2400XT > X1300 Pro > X1550 > 7300 GT > 6600 Vanilla > HD 3450 > 9300 GS > 8400 GS > 7300 GS > HD 2400Pro > 8300 GS > X1300 > 7300 LE > X550 > 7200 GS > X300 > 9550 > X1050 > X300 SE > Xpress200 (IGP) > 7100 GS > 6200A.
That's an older list now -- I'm not sure where the 4350, 5450, G.210, and other Geforce 100s fit. Only one IGP was included to start with, however it seems that the noob quotient keeps going up rapidly. There is no acceptable Radeon Xpress onboard chip, and no acceptable Radeon HD onboard chip, not a 3100, 3200, or 4200, same as there is no usable IGP from nVIDIA, not a 6100, 6150, 7050, 7150, 8200, 9200, none of them.
DOUBTFUL. Surely by now, you understood that the OP has / had nothing going for video and thus no reason whatsoever to complain, so surely you wouldn't make the same silly mistake as he / she did?tomcat551 wrote...
I've got the same problem
If you also chose to ignore the requirements, why then there is no such thing as a "resolution" from EA / Bioware, but we can't confirm that at this point, because you offered a mere "Me, too!" and that is totally useless for a PC -- maybe for a console, it's workable, not for PCs.3 second

FYI, patch 1.03 is part of that expansion's requirement, and patch 1.03 is the worst possible non-patch that adds far more problems than it was actually supposed to fix! Far better to wait on a decently debugged patch before jumping into the expansion!

Too bad I can't laugh enough today. Do you have a better joke maybe? Or a wise *ss advice for our fellow pc experts? Jesus, YOU are the one being absent-minded (/expressing what I want to say in a polite manner here) here, not them, IF you have noticed, just saying...Gorath Alpha wrote...
