Bioware stopped supporting weekend events? Got nothing to do to keep you interested on the weekends? Leave your refrigerator open all night? Well i've got the solution to 2/3 of those problems!

Try participating the the officially unoffical BSN community weekend events. Also, don't feel limited to the current event. Old operations can always be attempted at any time.

          Operation Famine (April 12 - April 14)

Description: Cerberus sleeper agents have managed to sabotage weapon and thermal clip stores across several Alliance posts in front line locations. New fabrications and repairs are already underway, but the war won't wait for them to be completed. It is imperative that soldiers find alternate means of confronting the enemy during this time, as we can not afford to lose what little ground we have gained.

Goal: Achieve extraction without firing your weapon or Cobra missiles a single time.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
          Operation Psychic (April 19 - April 21)

Description: Enemy Troops have adopted a new strategy of quickly moving between cover to set up ambushes. This tactics has had dangerously successful results. In order to combat this, we need to make preemptive strikes before the enemy can organize themselves. The Alliance has issued out new heavy material penetration modifications to soldiers in an attempt to aid in this directive.

Goal: Achieve 100* kills via cover penetration (inclusive of powers).
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
          Operation Resonance (April 26 - April 28)

Description: The enemy have begun a new campaign with the intention of exploiting our field teams' adherence to military protocol as a means of making us predictable. As such, we're retraining a great number of soldiers to alter stratagems at a moment's notice for any situation.

Goal: Achieve a 5 headshot medal, a 5 biotic/tech kill medal, two 10 weapon kills medals, a 5 melee kill medal, and a 5 assists medal in the same match.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
          Operation Aegis (May 3 - May 5)

Description: Enemy forces have discovered our encryption algorithm for our field communications and intercepted several communications regarding our upcoming deployment objectives. Regardless or the circumstances, these directives still need to be completed. In response to increased reinforcements in operational zones, specialized heavy defense units have been deployed to aid in the completion of our vital mission objectives.

Goal: Use the Paladin's Omni-shield or the Geth Juggernaut's Hex Shield to protect teammates during objective waves.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Feel free to make suggestions for your own events. ;)

*The number really isn't important, since no one can really track your progress. Just do it until you feel like it's done.

* Operation Vengeance (April 19 - April 21)

Description: Leviathan has given us a great boon in the Collector biotics. As husks of the once-proud Prothean race, they wish to avenge the deaths of their people personally. We will be happy to oblige.

Goal: Extract as an Awakened Collector on any difficulty against Reapers

Reward: the bravery to wear glasses in public

I do actually, but it isn't about being difficult, it's about changing your playstyle to make the game more fun.

But if you're determined for it to be a challenge just play against collectors. ;)

I would say that's a little bit too simplistic. It's also sort of a copy of Crismon Vanguard's "Ancient Vengence" challenge.

Stop and consider want particular unit collectors have that might be considered detrimental to power users.

At least there's very little chance of this op yielding another ****ty Valkyrie upgrade. And hell, even if it does, it'll be maxed, so I'll never have to see it again. I'm in.

I imagine Collectors would be a pain for power classes just because of Praetorian's anti-power bubble, but then Phantoms and Banshees have similar anyway... personally I used to HAAATE fighting Reapers, now I prefer it. Especially watching swarms of Husks scatter every which way from a BE

It's actually is pretty hard to think of new operations that aren't just, "Play kit A on gold".

Maybe I haven't given Bioware enough credit.
