If they brought back The Warden (if he survived in DAO)(If he is dead is will be replaced by the Warden Commander from DAOA) and Hawke as Companions in DA3 and there personality and dialogue are determined by the choices made in DAO and DA2 what kind of data will you import for them to be?

I already have my Warden as a Human Warrior Noble (All companion live (I killed Loghain and made Alaistir marry Anora) did not have Shale DLC since I find it a bit expensive for $15 for 1 companion is a bit much)

Hawke data will be the Diplomatic personality as a Mage with all companion a live (romance Isabela) Mage side. However, if they bring back Oghren as a companion then I'll use my Comedian Rogue Hawke for the comedian duel. You know you want to have Oghren and Comedian personality Hawke for the pure comedy they may bring.

(PS don't forget they have stated their story are over but it does not mean you will not see them again.)

I think the Warden's (and for that matter, maybe even Hawke's) personalities are potentially far too complex to ever be imported properly when you're not controlling them, honestly.

Heh..I can imagine some of the banter
*Inquisitor, Hawke, ad Warden are walking*

Hawke- So...You and Isabella Eh?

Warden- Ah...I take it she told you about that?

Hawke- Mhm...She boasted about it when I first met her.

Warden- Wow...she boasted?...Good boasting or bad?

Hawke- Well that depends on what you mean by good boasting. All she recalled was a big stupid grin..

Warden- That was Alistair..not me..

Hawke- The Sodding King of Fereldan?!

Warden- Ah...I take it she left out that part?

Hawke- I don't wanna talk about it anymore

Warden- Are you sure? I recall Zevran taking notes during that romp.

Hawke- *Sighs*

Too difficult to do as it'll only end up upsetting fans and Bioware letting of a massive sigh.

Wrong there. Bioware has confirmed their story is over but they also stated and quote "does not mean your old character may never appear in future games,"

It is there hint they're looking for a way to bring the Warden and Hawke back either as a NPC or as something else.

I wouldn't want to see them in DA:I, especially the warden it would be very difficult given he was a mute. I think where ever they are they should stay there. But I wouldn't mind atleast one more installment with the warden. Maybe a prequel.

I obviously wasn't being serious, thought i did mean the part where they won't appear, you might hear their stories, but it's highly doubtful you're get to see them. Seeing how character imports worked so well in past bioware games.

That being said, if that is doable and indeed done and done well, then my faith in bioware might yet receive a boost.

I don't think the DA:O and DA2 visuals of your character would transfer over, nor their class notes and equipment . . .so they'd look entirely different, and probably not act as your choices in DA:O/DA2 would suggest they should. Not to mention your Warden may just be plain dead.

I wouldn't one of my characters showing up in DA3, looking different and acting differently than I'd had them looking/acting in DA:O/DA2.

I don't know if the Warden is doable considering the variation in appearance, race, build, etc. But I can see them doing Hawke since he or she is human and has less variations to work out.

My position is if they can have them appear in a well-done way, more power to them. If it's going to be sloppy, however, I'd prefer for one of them or both to just be mentioned.
