Hi there,

I just wanted to "report" that I'm having a rather annoying issue regarding the new DLC "Return to Ostagar". I've played through the new DLC two times in a row, but I don't get the achievement for completing it.

Now, as I mentioned this is really getting on my nerves, so I would really appriciate some help as soon as possible so I can get this achievement out of my way.

i can't even figure out how to get "return to ostagar" it doesn't come up in the dlc. how do u purchase it?

I bought it yesterday over Xbox LIVE as usual. It came up, I paid, I downloaded. But now when I look I can't seem to find it either... might be linked to my problem as well?

This morning a title update on the Xbox 360 for Dragon Age: Origins was made available in preparation for the release of Return to Ostagar. This title update introduced a previously undetected issue that causes specialization classes to not work correctly in Dragon Age: Origins. We are removing Return to Ostagar from Xbox Live until the issue is resolved and are recommending that you do not download the title update. If you have already performed the update, we apologize for this and are working hard to ensure a fix is available as soon as possible.



We will provide more information to you when it is available

thats prolly why i can't find it n ur not getting the acheivement

what stinks for me is that it's the only acheivement i have left in the game. so i gotta wait until it's re-released to play and get it.

I see... hmmm... I hope my issue doesn't continue after they have updated the game. And I really hope they update it soon seeing as how it's a really annoying issue to have the DLC but not even getting the achievement for completing it. I hope someone who know's what's going on is able to "tune in" to this thread as it were.

Thanks for posting that message though, cleared things up a little bit about what's going on.

Yeah, that's my issue as well, and I HAVE the DLC on my harddrive, can you imagine how annoying it is? Haha

So it IS possible to continue to play RTO without the title update? See, I already had downloaded RTO and gotten the achievement for it. And after they pulled the title update I wasn't sure if it was required to play RTO or not.



I was also finally able to claim my glitched achievements, it seems that if I just clear my cache of the update and unlock a spec to get the rest back I will be right as rain. Well, that's worked out damn alright for me.

Well, I got RTO but I didn't launch the game that very same day, so I didnt download the update. Which is probably why I wasn't able to get the achievement. But, I´m not sure.

I have the same problem with the achievement. I have downloaded the update and the DLC but have erased the update before playing the game. I still can play with Return to Ostagar and my level 22 group of characters have all their specializations unlocked, but i can't unlock the achievement. I will try to finish the DLC a second time with another character to see if have the same problem.

I actually haven't been able to get any achievements since sometime on thursday. Not sure what changed, but since then I've sided with the Werewolves, and Bhelin, as well as recruited the last companion. None of these were acknowledged by the appropriate achievement. I also am having the issue with Specializations being relocked. It is making my second play through to finish gaining achievements worthless, and insures that I will not be starting a third charecter if I'm unable to utilize the perks I've unlocked.

i have the same problem ..maybe the next"update" will fix it i hope ..i saved the game before u gatta turn it in so i try n wait for the new update and hopefully unlocks..

Go to your memory hit Y and it should be the bottom one.
