Anybody else find it akward that alliance has so many warships after loosing three complete fleets, with three others being severly damaged, and potentially even further thinned out if you choose to save the citadel council.

They didnt agree to help earth, they agreed to join the fight against the reapers and only then when they were threatened...when Shepard asked for help the council turned her down including the Asari representative. For the most part of the game, Earth was on its own.

Nobody knows the final battle will be at earth...but Shepard spends the entire game moping about Earth, and trying to get everyone to rally together to retake it. That's certainly not better than Liara's comment (independent of the question whether it's gallows humor or not), especially because both Thessia and Palavan have had much greater strategic importance than Earth.

"See this devastation, Primarch? Double that for Earth. I need the Turian Fleet."
"Earth was attacked...we need your help. Everything you can spare."

Fourth Fleet

The Fourth Fleet was stationed near Earth at the time of the Reaper invasion in 2186. It was given a few minutes of advance warning after the Reapers emerged from the Charon Relay and engaged with the First Fleet, but was destroyed nonetheless.

Seventh Fleet

The Seventh Fleet was stationed near Eden Prime at the time of the Reaper invasion in 2186. Instead of being directly engaged in battle, the Reapers bypassed the Seventh Fleet entirely on their way to Earth.

Here you go.

The Reapers took Earth in a matter of hours. The Alliance knew the first wave would arrive from batarian space, but they were unprepared for the speed and scale of the attack.
The Reapers bypassed the Sixth and Seventh Fleets at Terra Nova and Eden Prime, flying straight from relay to relay where they could neither be tracked nor intercepted. The tactic was unexpected, since the navies of organic species would never risk coming out of FTL within combat range or leaving enemies at their backs to threaten supply lines.

At Arcturus Station, more than a dozen Reaper capital ships engaged the Alliance's Second, Third, and Fifth Fleets. This was mere screening for the main force. Dozens more capital ships continued through the Charon Relay, where the First Fleet had been lying in wait but was soon destroyed. The Fourth Fleet, near Earth, had a few minutes of advance warning. It stood no better chance.

After destroying Earth's comm buoys, smaller Reaper destroyers wiped out all GPS and communications satellites in Earth's orbit and cut the undersea fiber-optic cables that linked the continents. Earth's resistance now relies on outdated radio towers and a few quantum entanglement communicators whose matched pairs happen to be on other continents or outside the Sol system. Communication is so limited that the fate of entire nations remains unknown.

The capital ships bombarded defense installations and industrial centers, annihilating entire cities with populations in the low millions, including Adelaide, Hamburg, Al Jubail, and Fort Worth. Meanwhile, Reaper destroyers descended into the atmosphere to melt roads and capture population centers with minimal loss of life. This is not an example of the Reapers being merciful. More likely, they are herding their prey to make the coming harvest that much easier.

Interestngly enough, this codex also mentions the first fleet to be destroyed.

And did they get the help...no, she was shot down, til oh the Turian needs help getting the primark out. The primark wont help til Shepard gets the krogan, and the Krogan wont help til; Shepard finds a cure for the genophage. At the beginning Earth was the hardest hit but the council was quite happy to let it fend for itself but Shepard and the alliance were the first place they went to for help.

If what T'Soni said was meant as a joke, then she shouldn't quit her day job, becsause I found that "joke" uncalled for.

The other thing if the Asari government pulled their tentacles out of their a** and mentioned the artifact sooner more lives might of been saved.

Legion: Does this unit have a soul?
Shepard: (New dialogue) Nope *kicks Legion into the water below* And now the people of Rannoch can return home.

Grunt: Good, I didn't want to dig you out.
Shepard: (New dialogue) Grunt, don't make me throw you back into the tank...

and many more lol.

No, she didn't. Because Earth wasn't special, despite Udina and Shepard trying to treat it as such.

To quote the turian councilor: "Earth is no more or less important than any council homeworld." and the Salarian: "How do you know this is the brunt? New reaper fronts are opening everywhere."

But that doesn't change the fact that Shep asked for Turian/Asari/... support for Earth when their own (home)worlds are also under attack. That's exactly the same thing Liara does (the only difference is that the asari were already helping humans, while the alliance fleets did nothing to help its allies). Yes... Liara cares more about her own species/homeworld, but so does everyone else.

The conversation in Mass Effect 1 with the Council about Saren before becoming a Spectre, I agree with the Council that Shepard needs hard evidence about the reapers and Saren's motives and the vision the beacon give Shepard should never have been mentioned. It just makes him look stupid.

When Kaidan claims I cheated on him. I so wanted to shout 'we were on a break!' You dump me on Horizon then sent me some email with a vague hint at maybe getting back together at some later date. Sorry but not going to hang around waiting while you make up your mind. So no I was NOT cheating!

Lol, this.  Ash was handled better.  Shep can outright tell her that Horizon was a break up.

The worst version is when he tells Sheps who romanced Thane that she cheated on him... shortly after her boyfriend died :pinched:

My Shepard telling Saren right before she kills him that she faked every orgasm would be hilarious. Long story.

Also, when Garrus acts awkward right before love making in 2, I want to a Renegade version of the Paragon interrupt. Something like "Shut up and ravage me, big boy!"

I'm a pervert. :P

I like to imagine that my FemShep is very domineering and seductive with Garrus. She has an unhealthy thing with Turians.

I also noticed I didn't use any ME3 examples. Well, I could, but there are too many. The whole game needs a dialogue revamp.

I don't see the humor behind Liara's statement about air support.

In fact, all I see is her making a statement about the alliance providing air cover on Earth. Nothing humorous about it. Just a statement.

I think it's funny that Zaeed gets Korlack to cough up both the colony name and the fleet by simply threatening to beat him up. It's nothing Shepard couldn't have done.

Heck, I thought a Renegade Shepard would have a handle on things:

"Is it true what they say, that a suit puncture will make a Volus' skin split open? I wonder how thin you really are under there."

"Aphus! *gasp* It's Aphus! *gasp* Please, *gasp* don't hurt me!"

Are you honestly trying to tell me Shepard does not whine about Earth? Because he does. I'm bot saying its wrong for him to do so. In fact in perfectly understandable. Seeing your planet get destroyed has that effect on people. I just find that sometimes people are overly harsh on Liara.

My renegade Shepard's bondmate was Liara. I thought the lavatories needed cleaning, especially the tile grout. EDI can handle the helm for a while.

I'm sorry, I don't follow?

Joker could clean them for a while as my way of showing appreciation for his racist comment. The grout in the floor tile needs to be cleaned with special cleaner and a tooth brush. The floor tiles are typically 2" squares. This is a very time consuming
job. Gardiner used to do this in ME2, and that's why they were so
clean. Samantha remarked how filthy they were if you invited her up for
chess and let her use your shower, even if you didn't join her.

Since I punched al jalani in ME 1 and 2, I'd love to say to Diana:

Diana: do we have a deal?

Shepard: tell your producers yes for now, but if you  make any disingenuous assertions, I'm throwing you out the airlock, got it?

Come on, it's really not much worse than when I was in the hospital and they gave me my shot of percocet for pain, which wasn't doing the job, and I picked up the phone while the nurse was in the room (I was calling home), and she asked who I was calling.

"You said you'd call the doctor. You haven't. So I'm calling home to see if we can get the vet to prescribe anything stronger." Gallows humor. I was in agony.
