I'm not sure about Mass Effect, but when it comes to motorcycles "cute bike" is pretty insulting to guys trying to look badass.

How do you know if somebody is "trying to outscore you"? Surely everyone is trying to score points. I guess it'd be obvious if they ignore objective waves and go after enemies, but surely the rest of the time it'd be impossible to tell if somebody has specifically set their sights on you.

You don't really need to say anything. Their game play speaks volumes to how terrible they are. It is pretty evident when they start spamming missiles on waves 9 10 and especially on 11 in an attempt to get their score up. I knew a whale that use to do that, and she still does it. So saddening to see people do this, especially when the points don't matter. Like they could really beat the Best Sniper NA.

There are ways to tell, I assure you. One off the top of my head is early in the game you can see them rapidly change their strategy to mimic your own.

Same here, great game. My username is an embarrassment that exists solely because it was one of those names you create when you don't expect to ever use something beyond the next five minutes.

13 years later and the internet is still something I use. Who knew?


Token - that's a good point, and must be quite funny to watch, especially if the character/weapon types are entirely mismatched.

I see this alot in some gold lobbies. I play close range load-outs with hurricane so I see people change to something similar. Sad thing is that most of the time it's not their play style as they can't replicate the survivability

Aren't you one of the people in the platinum solo hall of fame thing? Must be a bit of a shock for people when they realize not everyone can top score with claymore-wielding drell vanguard or salarian melee build.


I've not done any platinum solos at all yet. I'm getting more comfortable with gold solos, but I pick geth as a result of being a complete instakill magnet. Platinum will offer no such leniency.

I guess I'm really clueless; I have no idea if someone's trying to top my score or not. It really doesn't matter, so I don't pay much attention to it. I have a lot of friends who just ****ing hate Geth and just missiles every Prime they see, who like to fire victory rockets on extraction wave, or just like getting 3 killstreaks by spawn nuking. It's kind of dumb that the opponents are no longer your enemies, but your own teammates. :|
