Nothing! I mean, if they're the type to sweat about the score then it will bug them anyway; if they're not then talking smack to them just makes you a bit of a jerk.

Unless they really deserve it. Then just point out that their mom's so fat the back of her neck looks like a pack of hot dogs.

Yesterday I went into a PUG with a Destroyer specced 066666 and I got to botb-banners one of which was... Aleste73 with a 100+ promotions? Anywhoo, I initially thought he/she was mad to fire off her missiles in wave 11 "just to outscore me". Why not do that in round 9 for example? Then I saw the level of the character which was 14 or 15 and I thought... Oh, she's probably milking that extra little experience.

Ehh. Someone like that may just like to burn all their missiles and may have been saving them for wave 10 in case of a rough objective or targets. I know unless it is Geth I won't waste any if I don't need to at the end of wave 10 (outside of speedrunning or being in a bad spot), so I will use them up on wave 11 even if it is on a lone enemy because I can.

I will also use any extra missiles on large spawns if there is someone that isn't level 20 in the lobby to help them gain extra xp. When all you have left to buy is Jumbo and Spectre packs it isn't a concern using up any and all consumables in a match.

I was "someone like that". I finished with 6 missiles left, and had tbh forgot about using them up until wave 11 when I saw that "suspicious behavior". Saving as many rockets for Wave 10 is usually good, I agree.

No. Last time around when that super boss player couldn't outscore me even though we had the same char except I had worse equipment, he ran around the whole map getting kills instead of helping with the objective.

Needless to say, I left the game before I could say anything insulting to him.

Anyway, on topic. I am indifferent to the others' tries to outscore me, so long as they play the objectives. If they do, then I won't say anything insulting (well, I won't mean it as an insult if I do). If they don't, I'll leave the game before even seeing the scoreboard.

You know when someone tries to outscore you. It's just obvious how they play more and more aggressively. Some people play naturally like that but when there is an evolution during the course of the game, when the player lingers for another one, switching to a geth infi or an AIU, you just know.

I honestly never payed any attention to this....i've seen folks play aggresively in general, but not because they was trying outscore a particular person, it was just the way they played with that particular kit...like those krogan warlords that get themselves waxed trying to kill EVERYTHING on the map.

I'm good with topping the board or coming in 2nd, but i do admit if i see myself in 3rd place after a match, i tend to think i'm slippin'.....but i never pay attention to the score or if i'm being outscored....it's too much goin' on to be worrying about that...
