6/6/6/4/4 works well. Overload to stun small mooks, Warp & Incendiary or Warp Ammo for bosses.

But I actually prefer 4/6/6/6/4. The Turian passive bonuses are just too nice.

I'm also thinking about trying 6/6/6/6/0.

6 - Tech Armor - Whatever, Power Damage, DR
5 - Warp - Detonate, Debuff
5 - Overload - Chain, Neural Shock
6 - Weapon, Headshots, Weapon
4 - Fitness - Health & Shields

A little bit of DR instead of x6 or x5 modifier to shield damage? Seems like a poor tradeoff.

It depends on the weapon you're using. I tend to use full-auto weapons with stability issues on him to take advantage of his Turian Passive (Punisher, Indra, LOLhurricane, Harrier to a much lesser degree)... so leaving enemies with a few shields left doesn't bother me too much (where if it was using powerful single shot weapons, it would).

The fact that I always use some type of shield gear on him (Cyclonic or Shield Power Cells and usually Stronghold Package) means I get a lot of mileage out of that DR.

Fair enough. I run shield gear on him too, but that actually means I find him tanky enough not to need more DR at TA6. I've gone entire plat games without dying as a TSent with CMIV. Its magical

Shield damage is way too good to mass up . Makes shieldstripping phantoms/collector captains etc and boss units much, much easier. I alternate between many weapons for him (Hurricane, Crusader, Saber, CSR, PPR...) so I guess there is that. Shieldstripping is too good for going for a versatile weapons/power build.

He's good too, ran a Claymore on him for a while after seeing AaronEh's video.

Real turians don't need anything but tech armour!

Fixed:bandit:

Yeah, there is that too, I know. I am fully aware that it is possible to successfully complete a gold match with nothing but tech armour.

I was just replying to his question of whether to take warp or overload.

I actually did, but it turns out the 'warp or overload' was the wrong question to search for.

I've specced out of warp before and just acted like a Tanky combat engineer. Best way to do it is to max everything and split fitness and tech armor how you like.

Now I run 4-4 in fitness and TA. 6 in everything else.

I rarely use this kit because of the no-dodge. But I am in the camp of using both:

6/6/6/4/4

but the passive tree, warp and overload should all be taken to 6

Exactly. Anyone who doesn't do this is a fool and should be eaten.

Gotta love horrible posts like this where people demand you must build your character a certain way. Did you pay for his copy of me3? um no. So they can spec their character however the hell they like :wizard:

Running a 5/6/5/6/4 build at the moment, taking warp up to Expose, Overload for maximum anti-Phantom specs and Tech Armour for Power Damage to strip her barriers in a single cast. Has worked well in Plat so far.

Do you see me holding a gun to anyone's head? No, I am simply expressing an opinion.

They are a scrub if they don't spec their character *your* way? That's right because DPS is everything eh?

That's just lame

The emoticon next to the word scrubs...that denotes sarcasm, for future reference. Like this one denotes helpful hint;)

There were just numerous threads with very sincere replies in the past.

The correct answer for your quesiton is both though.
There is absolutely no reason for Turinel to give up crowd control potential of overload and boss killing potential of warp debuff.

If anybody has to give up one of two.. I`d always go with Overload though. Overload is just too useful. (and quite rare now a day)

But with all seriousness, if you have a good gun go 3/5/6/6/6 or 3/6/5/6/6.
