I imported my mass effect save to mass effect 2 and romanced ashley but had liara in the opening scene, is that just the default setting for the ps3 no matter who you chose?
Does liara always appear at the beginning of ME2 on ps3?

Yes, Liara always appears in the PS3 version (I'm not sure if this is intentional, I think it's a glitch). It doesn't affect romances though, they'll still go on as normal.

That's rough.
So glad I don't play on the PS3.
It might be a quick and short scene...but it just wouldn't be right for me if it wasn't Ashley.

Might be intentional. An attempt to further canonize the *Liara stares out toward normady while it explodes* scene of Redemption.
