If you watch the video you'll see how I use it on three different classes, I prefer it on Engineers. You can try those or start with an Infiltrator like the Quarian Male Infiltrator (Arc Grenades to detonate explosions from ammo powers), Salarian Infiltrator (Energy Drain and Proxy Mine) or even the Turian Ghost if you're hipster like that (Overload).

That is actually kinda true. If you can't do that, you won't be able to do much with this gun...

I've used it on Valkyrie and BatSol with some pretty Hillarious effect (it's rather obvious that this gun is awesome on AIU). It's fun cuz u can release a charged shot while using a power. Thus Im amplifying my Valkyrie's BEs with some nice venom blast xD, nice crowd control, might try it on fury. BatSol is cool too cuz u can release the charge while casting Ballistic.

IMHO it's an amazing AOE weapon for CQC classes.

Never tried it on those classes, think I might tomorrow, thanks for the input

That is fun! Just try it with your Venom I. Doesn't really matter when you detonate explosions from its ammo powers.

The scorpion spoiled me.

You play your drell guard very like mine... except I use the scorpion and disrupter ammo.

I'm still trying to find a decent home for it. So far, only my melee only krogan sentinel has it for the stagger/blade attachment/ and to troll phantoms.

And I can only recommend you to keep trying. It even made me use the Salarian Engineer again

Yes, I do. I can also recommend Disruptor - haven't tried Cryo tbh. Will do later!
I'm favouring Incendiary because of Panicking, DoT and reliable detonations.
If you have Incinerate, Disruptor Ammo is great to strip shields before setting up FEs/detonating TBs with Incinerate, in that case it's probably even better than Incendiary ammo.

Nice. I have been experimenting a lot lately with the Venom. Currently I have it on my AIU and Destroyer. When I get it to X, I am gonna take it on my AJA. Area reave with warp ammo = awesome sauce.

I am fully aware of its staggering potential, and there are certain kits which I want to use it on, BUT, for me, it is prohibitively heavy, especially at level 2.

This is the first UR I got maxed to X since Retaliation, I hated it on lower levels, but I guess I just didn't use it properly. I give it another whirl today.

I like it when the projectiles aren't laggy, but the falcon/scorpion can do the same thing at much lighter weight. Can even bring a hurricane on the side. My Venom is only level 2 though.

Thanks. Seems to me, there's a few people out there who like to use it on Krogans. I should try that.

I am also a shotgun lover when it comes to the Justicar. Never did it with the Venom - but with the Crusader  Will try.

Yes, it is heavy. It took me a few tries to get used to it - but since you have four shots and a really god RoF you don't waste the cooldown only running around and reload canceling but shooting instead.

This would've never happened if it wasn't for your Shield Boost a second before that - so saving the Volus was more like the honorable thing to do than an act of selflessness

It was my last, so I was really happy when RNG finally gave it to me. It's definitely a niche weapon like Falcon and Scorpion are. But once you got it figured out it can be really fun. Hope this helps.

Yes, it can be stupid at times, especially off host. One reason why I prefer the Venom over the Falcon is the great RoF combined with the 4 shots. The Venom has considerably better damage output, too - it's not that amazing compared to the best shotguns in the game, but it is still good DPS. Way better than the Falcon.

It is, I think, one of the more fun weapons of the last DLC. I really enjoy using it, and I don't consider it as bad as some others do. It is a weapon that I happily use on my Drell Infiltrator instead of the Claymore (suboptimal, I know; it is damn fun, though).

I don't have it yet, so you'll have to enlighten me - it looks like you're generally aiming for the feet of enemy - does that make it prime more reliably? Or is that just the easiest way to hit the target (a la Phase Disruptor)?

Fun is the first word that comes to my mind when I think of it - somewhere I saw a guy calling it "The Stewardess".

It's much easier to actually hit the enemies that way - and it still primes them .
