Either that or Cerberus. Watching Phantoms fly left and right is quite a sight to behold.

That it is.

Best time for me is usually saturday, but I may have time for a few quick games shortly.

Scorpion does it better, and look how slow it kills a brute on gold lol.. pointless gun honestly.
It is the player, not the gun.

In your opinion. I can drop a brute quick enough using this weapon in conjunction with powers and ammo affects. It isn't the be-all end-all wonder weapon, but a lot of us like to have fun whilst playing this game. This gun is fun. I just wish I could make primes bounce up in the air with it...

I don't know if this has been suggested, but because of this thread some friends an I ran a bunch of matches using the venom. I liked it on the Jugg ( always shooting down on stuff ) and the drell adept ( sub some venom shots for cluster grenades between reave casts ).
Never tried it on the Juggy 'cause I never play him - but I love it on both DrellDept and DrellGuard!
Absolute AoE desctruction on the Adept

I would sometimes hit targets (the projectile lands on target) but do no damage. Or maybe it actually does do damage but it's very hard to tell.
Also the lack of penetration or range is a big turn off. Not a gun for someone who likes shotgun sniping.

Does this gun have hit detection issues off host like the GPS does?

It does have the occassional off-host blank shot. I have seen it happen before where it will do no damage but still stagger the target which really surprised me.
For the long range enemies, learning the usual arcing path of the shot helps lob it over cover. That does take a while to master though.

Except the covers I like to penetrate simply cannot be lobbed over. Walls, for example. It's infuriating when a Nemesis or Rocket Trooper is standing behind tall cover and you can't do anything to hurt them.heroicmass wrote...

Shooting it at the ground next to their feet will typically hit them as well. You can also bounce charged shots off walls and ceilings to get the hard to hit enemies. Like I said, it takes time.

Nah.You can also bounce charged shots off walls and ceilings to get the hard to hit enemies. Like I said, it takes time.
For example, how do you hit this:

I can kill that in a split second with any of my usual weapons - Raider, Javelin, Hurricane, Wraith.
But again, my play style assigns the highest target priority to enemy snipers (Geth Rocket Trooper, Nemesis, Phantom, Ravager, Marauder, Scion, Geth Hunter, Collector Captain) because I hate them with the burning heat of a thousand suns.

I'm not even sure that is a wall (the kind that you can bounce off of). And even if it is a wall, it's impossible to judge its inclination. Your shots could go just about anywhere.Max Dmian wrote...
Bounce the shots off the wall behind her.
Edit: Some examples would be very helpful. In your video you mostly stay out of cover to engage enemies out of cover. A video about how to deal with enemies in cover using the Venom would be very helpful.

Seriously, an SP screenshot.
As for your comment about using the usual weapons, the venom does many things those weapons can't do.
As for showing the enemies you hate what for, nothing does it better than the venom rocketing them into orbit.

Gotta do it again I guess, HeroicMass said he'd be up for it on Saturday.
I'll be on again tomorrow btw.
