In one of my playthroughs, I had my Cousland marry Anora, so I was disappointed she didn't appear in Dragon Age II. Is anyone else hoping she'll appear in Inquisition? If she mentions my Cousland, I'd be happy.

No.

But then, I really don't care about what's going on in Ferelden anymore. Had no great love for that place.

Actually, should expand that to include, I really don't care about anyone or anything we've seen in the past. I would if the game was an actual trilogy. Since it's not, I don't care about what happened last game anymore.

I want it to make more reason than King Alistair in DA2.

I like cameo's, but not as shameless fanservice, there's got to be sense in all elements of a story to keep one immersed.

So; sure I'd love that too, but only if the story has a element where she fits.

^That's not really senseless it's said in the epilogue that Alistair travels around Fereldan to see commoners, why wouldn't go to the Free Marches to see the massive amounts of Blight refugees and possibly get some of the Fereldan workforce back?

Yes, Anora was one of my favorite characters in DAO and, quite frankly, one of the most remarkable fereldans ever.
I desperatelly want her to participate in the power struggle in DAI as queen.

He was put there to meet Hawke, no other reason.

Glad someone agrees with me. :)

Eventually in a future game your protagonist might return to Ferelden. A better question to ask is whether your male warden or Allistar could get Anora pregnant and if so would the child be normal.

Given that Cailan has no bastards despite his... Extraciricular activities, I'd say Anora wasn't the problem so I'd hope Anora can get pregnant.

I married Anora. She and my male Cousland are going to usher in the golden age of Ferelden. Yes, I would be happy with just a text reference.

I remember reading somewhere that Cailan and Anora didn't have any children, and Cailan blame Anora for that. It was also the reason why Cailan planned to marry Queen Celene of Olais, and made Anora step down as queen (but Cailan ended up dead at Ostagar anyway). So I don't know, it's possible that Anora can't have children. Anyhow, I'm not a fan of her. I respect her for her strong personality, but I kinda dislike her since she's too much like her father, only loyal to herself, willing to turn on her own father (or her savior) to secure her stand and power.
I guess, the safest bet is that she mey be mentioned by some random chatters, or maybe mentioned by some DA:O return characters.

Nothing in what you said indicates that Anora doesn't have a problem conceiving also.

Oh yes, so very much.
My canon Warden was quite happy to marry the woman he loved (despite the unusual circumstances), so I'd like to see a mention of that. Doesn't necessarily have to be in Inquisition, but somewhere down the line...actually, I'm happy as long as they don't do anything to screw up my headcanon.

If that's the case, then it seems there will be no heir to the throne as it's either Anora and Cousland, Alistair and Anora, Anora alone, Alistair and Cousland or Alistair alone.

Alistair and Queen Cousland cannot have kids since they're both Grey Wardens. It is possible for one Grey Warden to have a kid, but not together.

Alistair alone isn't mentioned to marry. The only mention of a romance for him is the Warden as a mistress. This, coupled with the Taint attacking his fertility gives him a time limit.

Of course, they could retcon it with Alistair marrying some noble wife and getting her pregnant.

I'd love to see her again. Strong female character, good VA, and it would be interesting to see her back in the story again. I'd love to see a chance in the game where you have all of the worlds leaders gathered together in one room. Anora and a wriggling/extremely uncomfortable Alistair, stoic Sten/Arishok eating his cookies, Celene, etc.

I'd like to see her cameo as a head on a spike.

Or maybe she can get her useless self captured again.

"Why does this keep happening every time I boldly march through the front door of a villain's headquarters with only my maid for protection? I just can't figure it out!"

I hope not. I never made her Queen anyway and I think it would just open a huge can of worms for those who made Alistair king and imprisoned Anora.I understood having a reference or 2 in DA2 since Hawke was Fereldan but if the new PC is say Orlesian then there's no point for Alistair or Anora to appear.

The OP meant Anora's return in context of her being made the Queen of Ferelden, so there's no reason to assume that her returning would be a can of worms for those who didn't make that choice...it wouldn't happen unless due to a bug.

The new game taking place outside of Ferelden with a non-Ferelden PC wouldn't mean that it wouldn't make sense for the Ferelden monarch to appear.  The mage-templar conflict is multi-national, for one, and for another, there's a civil war brewing in Orlais that has implications for Ferelden, especially considering what Alistair tells Hawke about certain Orlesian factions wanting to re-take its former southern province.  There's plenty of legitimate story-reasons to include scenes with the monarch of Ferelden, whether Anora or Alistair.

If alive, whether Queen in her own right, or Alistair's wife I'd like to see Anora appear if there is a good plot-related reason for her to be present at Empress Celene's court.

For the most part I want future cameos to be like DAO's and mean while in Denerium cutscenes. The majority of my playthroughs end up with Alistair and Anora ruling together so I'd like to see them actually ruling together.

I would like to see Anora return, I put her on the throne too. However, my understanding is that the 'King Alistair' decision is going to be canon from here. Don't ask me to quote where I got that from but I swear Mr Gaider declared it to be so... somewhere.
