if romanced in DAO, are they even together anymore? maybe it's just me, but her codex entry, current role etc kind of make it seem otherwise. :/

People don't have to be together at all times to "be together" y'know :)

It is possible they could be the at the  end of DA2 we learn warden is currently missing and So is the Champion I belive she is part of the Seekers and is trying to find out what happen to them.

Cassandra is the one who says that the Warden is missing, for all we know Leliana might know and just not say it since her mission is apparently looking for Hawke and not the Warden.

Supposedly the books aren't considered canon, meaning the games aren't bound by what happens in the book.

They and the comics are canon in the sense that if your playthrough fit with them (Wynne, King Alistair & Shale being alive) they happen, if Alistair is not king or Shale and/or Wynne are dead they don't or do in a different manner. Perhaps Evangeline will be dead in the playthroughs where someone import a dead Wynne?
We'll see.

Leliana is a agent, agents travel a lot (At least some do, and Leliana does that a lot, 2x Kirkwall and 1x Cheateau Haine). I could see some of my Wardens traveling with her and just not interferring with her missions.

humm, never actually thought of it that way. i was always under the impression it was implied the Warden stayed in Ferelden most of the time, but i suppose Teagan's "the Hero of Ferelden should be back in Denerim by now" could just be him/her coming back from travelling with her...

And perhaps if your Warden is Dalish, Merrill really DID see Mahariel in the Lowtown market.

Mind=blown.

No idea how it goes if you didn't import a Dalish Warden, but if you did Merrill mentions thinking she saw Mahariel in the Lowtown market, and then remarks how ridiculous that is.

Just an interpretation...maybe it isn't ridiculous at all...it's in act 3, right when Leliana shows up too... :?

Is it not likely all Wardens are long dead by the time DA:I takes place?

I could be wrong, no lore expert here, but wasnt it said in the Calling that when it isn't a Blight Wardens can potentially live full lives?

Thats how I always interpreted it lol. Makes it seem like my Warden was looking out for Merrill from the shadows....in a creepy....kinda stalkerish sort of way..... ok maybe not. But he was still there!

Going with the '30 years, give or take' idea, no.

Regarding Leliana's status with the Warden, I'm reminded of Jaheira's romance epilogue from Throne of Bhaal.

The epilogue mentions that the Bhaalspawn and Jaheira had their moments when they were apart from each other for large parts of time, as their adventures/responsibilities took them places. Despite not being physically close in proximity, though, they were always together and Jaheira never worried because if the Bhaalspawn would give up becoming a God for her, there was likely nothing that would come between them.

True that. Though I don't think it will be too far in the future though, they don't want to skip too much of this Mage - Templar war. Personally I think it will take place 1 or 2 years after the end of act 3  in DA 2. Thats about enough time for Templar and Mages to seperate themselves from the Chantry, and start their war. So I say, The warden might still have 10 - 15 years to live, give or take, unless he got killed off as part of some crazy scheme xD

I kinda think of Bastila and PC in KOTOR xD They had their happy time, and then they got seperated for the rest of their lives.

I don't hope we will get a side quest by Leliana to kill and release him, because he has been corrupted by the Architect (or something similar) and turned into a darkspawn like Genevieve and Bregan.
I fear that, because darkspawn appearence would solve the problem with the look of the Warden.

I don't know, the Warden is exposed to a lot more darkspawn (and an archdemon) than the average GW.  I wouldn't be surprised if the taint spreads more quickly in the Warden, and Alistair in those imports, causing the Calling to take place sooner than normal.

They ARE both adventurers. Just because they are not attached to the hip does not mean they are not "together."

That said, Flemeth probably killed the Warden and Hawke. That's my theory, anyway.

I remember in one epilogue she dies of a broken heart, I realize that time may not have happened yet, but it would be cool if she seemed headed in that direction than a "Well I am sad, but people greatly exaggerated it" Sort of thing

She should be dead, period. But since she's not, I want to kill her again.

Because Alistair is a drunk, somewhere, or dead?  The Kleenex box in my sig was created specifically for him.  Grief is one thing, but bromance grief is really tiring after a while.  As a character, I truly loved Alistair.  As a person, I truly hated him, and either run him off or kill him after the Landsmeet duel.

Use your imagination, if Alitstair is dead or a drunk the Warden might have other things pulling him/her back to Denerim.
