Basically, I'm trying to figure out how the forum feels about the
finished trilogy with a fairly un-biased, somewhat comprehensive poll.
Feel free to elaborate upon your vote either in these comments or in the
poll comments.
And here's the poll (hopefully):

POLL: Now that it's all said and done, how do you feel about the Trilogy as a whole?

I love Mass Effect. As far as I'm concerned, no franchise holds up against it (personal opinion) and I look forward to more game in the future

We should keep this bumped for the devs to see, like a thank you.
Even the disgustingly negative BSN surely will admit this is one of the best, if not the single best franchise of the era.

Best sci-fi IP in any medium since Babylon 5. Yeah, the ending sucked, but it was still one hell of a ride getting there. I look forward to more adventures in this universe. One can only hope future games live up to the Mass Effect legacy.

Despite the flaws, it's a deep platonic love.

One of the best series ever. Must have logged over 400 hours

Despite flaws and various annoying things, it's one of my favorite series ever. Just the whole sci-fi feel is to die for.

ME is just amazing. Needing a break from CIV, I tried DAO. I loved the game. I had no interest in ME because I have no interest in "shooters". Well one day I saw ME1 for sale. $9 or so. I figured why not give it a try. DAO was great maybe they did well with ME too. I wasn't disappointed. More of an RPG with a story than a shooter. I was hooked immediately and played all the way through several times. ME2 & 3, the same.

The ME trilogy is definitely my favorite video game series. The characters and story are awesome, and I would probably say that the story is one of my favorites across all media. Each game had its flaws, but none of them diminished my love for the series.

I view it negatively as i keep thinking that it failed its potential. The universe is great, but the trilogy hasn't realised its potential. I can only hope they do better next time, stay consistent and GET RID OF FRIKIN CATSUITS!!! I want proper armor ffs. But basically i hope they stay consistent ME1 to 2 radical change. Same with DAO to DA2. Tweaking something is fine, changing it completely is another.
So i hope they do better if they decide for another franchise and stay consistent and also use some common sense when designing the squads' and peopls armor. FInal note avoid cutscene/gameplay segregation. A person with shields should not die in one bullet from a predator pistol is a cutscene. Cutscenes should match gameplay, as it is from 2 onwards cutscenes and gameplay were like 2 different games. AVOID THAT!

I thought ME2 and especially ME3 really had proper armor...
Different studio next ME, so hoping they can get a handle with your second point though (cutscenes)
Overall impeccable series though

Flaws and all it's the best trilogy or series of games that I've ever played and still play. Nothing has captured my imagination more.

Still loving it. All of it. Still crossing my fingers for the hard working Bioware studio. Still not supporting EA. Here's hoping the future will change that.

It was like that awesome drinking session you and your friends will remember for years to come... except you also remember that awful hangover at the end.
It was good up to a point. MP was curiously addictive. But really, EA/Bioware? Did you have to do that?

There are flaws, as with everything, but the whole thing is brilliant. Love the series.

There are flaws, but I can't help but think that when I say that, it'll conjure up the impression that I didn't like the game. The only reason I say 'there are flaws' because there simply are, and I can't ignore that. Yet, 80% of those flaws don't even bother me.
ME was an ambitious project, and did a lot of things right. And overall, it will remain the best sci-fi series in gaming until another comes to take the title. Yet, there will *always* be a place for ME, it's a trilogy I will take to the grave with me.

I can honestly say that the ending, and ME3 in general really, nearly killed the franchise for me.
Only due to Citadel, headcanon, and a recent trilogy of the playthrough (as well as my own hardcore devotion to ME) have I been able to keep my self as posting anything more than a failure.
They say it's about the journey, not the destination.
For me at least, that's a bold lie. Everything I did in the journey is nigh inconsequential in the face of RGB.
I voted ambivalent.

Picked positively, would have picked Very positively if the priority Earth and onward would have been better. I love the universe but I think those last parts of ME3 could have been better all around.

It's good, but ME3 with it's many flaws (and I don't mean ending or lack of "epic win" that prevorious titles had) wasted the potential for it to be berfect.

Love it. I've played through each game at least 20 times. Frankly I don't care what anyone else has o say about it, the internet is a cruel little kid with a magnifying glass. Even though I didn't get everything I wanted out of it, I'm still playing through.

I love the Mass Effect universe as a whole. I think it's rather unique.
But the games.....man, wished it would've been better end to the trilogy.
