Mass Effect became my favorite franchise with Mass Effect 2, and Mass Effect 3 is an amazing game.

Looking back on it, Mass Effect is easily the weakest of the bunch, It's still a great game and one I have no trouble replaying, but it's no where near as strong as the other two.

Mass Effect 2 was the game that got me hooked to Mass Effect, I played it for a few hours and immediately bought Mass Effect 1 just to play through and transfer my save file. As it stands now it is my favorite game of all time.

Mass Effect 3 was very good as well, but not quite as good as Mass Effect 2. It is a shame that we didn't to experience the worlds before the Reaper Invasion, I would have loved to explore Thessia. It strayed away from it's RPG roots the most, and you couldn't even holster your weapon. That said it has the most touching moments I've ever seen in a game and honestly made me teary eyed. I was satisfied with the ending, but I am very disappointed that Bioware is done with Commander Shepard.

One of the greatest videogame series of all time, and one of the greatest experiences of my life. Three outstanding games, though I think ME3 is massively underrated here. Looking forward to the Next Mass Effect!

Despite the flaws, it's a deep platonic love.

Meh, a deep platonic love but one that my  platonic love dumped me for the COD / Artistic Integrity crowd.

Citadel was bittersweet, like seeing why you loved ME and how much fun it was, but knowing ME moved on to greener pastures and dumped players like me.

I just finished the game again.

I don't think I can do it anymore.

It's so damn good...but it's so damn sad...but in a good way.

Just like LOST...it's my favorite tv show, always will be...and I wouldn't change a thing...but the ending is always sad.

Third time completely finishing the trilogy...and it still gets to me everytime.

How people who liked ME1-ME2 can hate on ME3 is beyond me. It's something I will never understand...and really...I don't care to understand.

I absolutely love the game.

This is...not only the best game I have ever played...but probably the best series/franchise in any media...in my opinion.

We should keep this bumped for the devs to see, like a thank you.

Even the disgustingly negative BSN surely will admit this is one of the best, if not the single best franchise of the era.

It WAS a great franchise, which was then trainwrecked by its own creators.

You're entitled to like it if you want, but you also have to accept that many people, more than EA or Bioware should just try to pass off as a bull crap "vocal minority", hate what was done with ME3, especially the ending.

IF Bioware had taken more time with ME3, and had tried harder with the ending, and had given possible end results that appealed to a more wide variety of their fan base, their praises would be sung on these boards.

Its not the "negative BSN's" fault if Bioware cared more about setting up a "ME4" than about giving the trilogy the epic series it deserved.

Shouldn't you also have to accept that many people like the game?

You say that we have to accept that many people hate it...which is fine...I absolutely accept that...but it should work both ways.

You can't ask for others to accept your opinion on the game when you obviously cannot accept their opinion on the game...just because it differs from your own.

Don't let Mac Walters near it, bring back Drew, allow Weekes and co. to continue with their brilliant writing, and i'll be delivering letters full of money to your front door. No more auto-dialogue crap, I want to dictate the tone of Shepard, I'm sick of pressing a button then watching Shepard act out his 'The Reapers are going to pay' speech without my input whatsoever. Replaying ME2 made me realise just how much of ME3 was really on autopilot. The dialogue choices are half the gameplay, the Gears of War shooting is good enough so stop investing in it.

I am completely satisfied with the trilogy. Each game was more polished and engaging than the last. While I can understand the anger at the ending, it's not something that particularly bothers me and certainly does not jade my opinion of the first 40 hours of the game. Destroy fit perfectly with what my Shepard wanted from the beginning: the annihilation of the Reapers at any cost. She would've sacrificed 90% of the galaxy if it meant the last 10% could live in safety, so the loss of synthetics meant nothing to her.

I am satisfied. Wish that Mass Effect ended as a trilogy, however that is not for me to control (Not because I hate it, but because I feel the ending's choices are too big when combined with previous choices) but I love this series dearly. I hope that the next Mass Effect is good if not better.

My favourite series of a game ever.
Tbh I think 1 & 3 are criticised way to much (1 to a lesser extent). I mean, the endings weren't great, but, I think the trilogy as awhole does not suffer from that
Well worth the 50-odd quid I spent on getting the trilogy, Very Positive :)
I am really looking forward to the next game, whatever they have in mind is sure to be great.

For me Mass Effect started off well with Mass Effect 1 and 2, but then Mass Effect 3 happened and that just ruined the whole Trilogy.

I just get the feeling that Mass Effect 3 and the Shepard story is not finished yet.

To me there is STILL a lot of questions that NEED to be answered before the Mass Effect can more on.

For me the questions that STILL need to be answered are:
- why the details of Mass Effect 3 all wrong?
- why are Ashley and Kaiden the wrong rank?
- why does Ashley look like a civilian?
- why isn't the Rachni and Shepard have their alliance anymore?
- why are EDI and the Geth allow to evolve only to be destroyed?
- why isn't Anderson conucil member any more?
- why is Udina with Cerberus?
- what is Cerberus connection with the Reapers?
- is the indoctrination theory true or not?
- how did the Collectors come back?
- if Leviathan can control Reaper forces then why didn't they?
- what other clones did Cerberus create?
- what was "Evil" Shepard looking for?
- where was "Evil" Shepard going?
- why are there three Raaper ending (Control, Destroy, Synthesis)?

No doubt other can think of more questions to ask, but for me until these questions are answered Shepard's Mass Effect story will not have been finished.

Mass Effect 1 and 2 are great games. Mass Effect 3 is a good game, but I will always have issues with it. But I still got my money out of the third one. I will give Bioware credit on their multiplayer. The trilogy had potential to be one of the best, but I feel the series still fell flat at the end. However I feel, Bioware still deserves credit on making a lot of amazing characters like Garrus.

I found the third installment in the Mass Effect series to be disappointing.

The ending was clearly slapped together in a day or less. What's the point of the player running around the universe putting together a colalition of races, building the mega-weapon, and then it's all irrelevant as some mental midget AI hands over the galaxy to the first person who asks? I know video games are a wate of time, but now I feel giving Bioware/EA money is an even bigger waste.

I'm allowed to choose whether my character wears a helmet all the time, but I'm not allowed to aim my gun myself? Does that make sense on any level?

I played the trilogy for the story and gameplay. I dealt with shortcomings in each because I felt the sum of parts was worth it. Now I just feel I shouldn't reward companies for shovelling sub-par product out the door. I get the strong feeling the only reason ME3 exists is to gather customer data for EA marketing. Really not the satisfaction I expect from completing a game.

Crushing disappointment that tainted the entire trilogy. If they expect me to buy another Mass Effect game, they'll have to convince me to trust them again

I find ME1 and ME2 to be absolutely amazing games. ME3 is a garbage dump that taints its two predecessors simply by existing. ME1 and ME2 rank among some of my favourite games of all time. ME3 means that I cannot qualify the trilogy as anything other than absolute hogwash.

Before ME3 I was blissfully ignorant of Walters' ineptitude and could believe that all the cool stuff in the first two games was there by merit of writers who knew what they were doing. ME3 proved instead that it was all a stroke of random luck. Beginner's luck, I dare say. They created two entirely awesome games by accident.

The greatest game series ever. I liked all three of them especially me2. Still, it would've been even better with an ending as complex and spectacular as promised.

But what is done is done and you need to move on. I'm looking forward to see me4!
