Everybody has real life problems, and they're real and they matter.

And I can come here, and a bunch of people who have never met me in real life give a **** about my problems. They don't know what those problems are. They haven't met me (in person.) They have no idea what has happened this week, or last week.

But they care. Whether they're helping me get better at the game, or just encouraging me when I'm down, they care.

I love BSN. And I think that I'm very, very glad that I looked in here one day for video game advice, and found mindbogglingly, incredibly, cool wonderful people.

I agree. I was really down in the dumps yesterday, then I got in a party with SlimJim, TheLostSkeleton, Barkh0use, Biggs, Bosster and HeroicMass... all I did was laugh and forget about my troubles.

The people that make up this community are REALLY good people for the most part. That's why I'm on record multiple times saying that this is the best gaming community that I know of, and that I've ever been a part of.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Stan close this thread... he's on a "Spam, End of Line" rampage at the moment.

But seriously, I fracking love BSN. You guys are great. This forum always puts me in a good mood, no matter how bad my day's been. It's most likely the co-op nature of the game. But this place is amazing.

In an attempt to make it ME3 MP related...I firmly believe that the fact that this is a Co-Op game exclusively, without any PvP, both creates and attracts a certain type of personality through its playmode. I hope that Mass Effect NEVER goes PvP.

I have to +1 this. I haven't played with that many people but it's amazing that total strangers can be preferred company over people I've known for a long time IRL. If all the good people are here maybe we need to give everyone a copy of ME3.

Same. I'm Bipolar, so sometimes I get a little ape**** and/or depressed, and with a few exceptions, the people here are good. Hop in a match and it's just good fun, good lulz, and making that monies is usually an easy prospect for four folks from here.

I've heard a lot of people describe this community as negative, but for the most part, it's the driveby posters that are negative.

Yes, BSN does help release the stress and calm the nerves. Thanks to everyone who puts up with my BS. This is a good outlet for me.

Op loadstar did show this place has heart. I knew it was the last one. Helped 8 random achieve. Plus my bro, cuz, Wiseman. Was an awesome sendoff. Weren't there like 3 help with loadstar threads up? You rock BSN.

I've been wondering too what made this community so special. I think it's also that the SP has a mature story and backs up the MP with a rich universe. I like to think it tends to attract more literate crowds. I'm pretty sure also that we have a mixed public here; part RPG players (like I am), part FPS aficionados.
