I got her to open up, had her fall down on the road, she has her new power, etc. I sided with the Mages and both the Warewolves and the Elves lived (their leader sac'd himself).

I talked to Sarel with Wynne present and he won't trigger the quest. Just, "You're welcome to sit with us but don't you have Darkspawn to fight?"

Any advice?

Has Wynne talked to you about her old apprentice? That may be a prerequisite to Sarel's dialogue. If she hasn't spoken about it, her approval may too high, and lowering it may open up the conversation. (And IIRC, you can complete the quest w/o Sarel, but you do need to get the initial conversation from Wynne.)

You need to get Wynn to talk about regrets in the camp. This can take multiple attempts...
Keep talking: once she apologizes for collapsing, then regret will come up eventually.
Oh if her approval is to high the conversation may not trigger.

Thanks guys. I got worried after reading her approval can't be too high, hers was close to 100%. But I tried just one more conversation at camp and there it was.
