Software isn't perfect and neither are developers. If more time is needed to get the product right, I'd rather take that time and get it right.
However, the decent thing to do would be to remove the front page link to order the DLC which takes you straight to the page where you pay for it.
If you want to change it so that it says pre-order, OK. As it is, not OK IMO.
Why is the DLC still for sale on the front page when it isn't actually available?

Nowhere does it claim to be available. It does let you buy the points in advance, but it's always done that. I bought the points over a month ago.
