I'm assuming you want damage/crowd control? Shoot for:
Sleep
Crushing Prison
Virulent Walking Bomb
Glyph of Repulsion
Fireball
Grease
Cone of Cold
Affliction Hex
Mana Clash
You can get all of those. You could take out Grease and Fireball, and get Blizzard and Tempest instead. I just get Grease and Fireball because Grease is a good CC skill too, and Fireball doesn't mean I have to hide in the corner waiting for Blizzard to finish.
Basic idea is to Crowd Control enemies with Paralysis Explosion or Sleep, then cast Virulent Walking Bomb on one of them, then proceed to kill them, through Blood Wound and Grease Fire.

First of all, BM is not a good specialization to take at level 7, since the best blood mage spell is not accessible yet. Take your 2nd spec first at level 7.
Drain life is a so so spell. What blood mages need is ways to finish keep enemies at bay until you finish the slaughter. As such, I really like the glyph line.
I also like the walking bomb line since you can compound damage on top of blood wound. Getting frost up to cone of cold is not a bad idea also for freezing enemies who resist blood wound. The 1st and 2nd hex spells will add damage to blood wound so I would consider them.
Finally, mana clash is very handy for at least 1 mage in the party.

I don't know if this is still on topic... but since we're talking about Blood Mage builds... is it a good idea to prepare in advance my mage towards a Blood Mage spec. by only putting points into Magic from the very beginning of the game (until I reach around 36+ MAG) and then just pump everything into CON?
I'm thinking of an almost pure Blood Mage build with no reliance on Arcane spells and stuff... I know this might be a bit difficult early on in the game... and for the roleplaying aspect of it... but surely it is not impossible?

60 magic and 30 con should do it. There's a ring that gives +10 to con and another that reduces blood magic costs by 25%

There is little point in getting blood mage with the first specialization imo as the first two skills doesn't do anything and the others aren't unlocked until you are at second specialization anyways.

Blood magic 1st skill isnt THAT bad... early game this provides more juice for spells at a point where health poutlice is more plentiful than lyrium pots.

Alright then, thanks for the input, im going blood mage spirit healer, so i guess ill pick spirit healer first?, and i have fire and earth for petrify... anygood? and im gettin crushin prison after you turn them to stone sounds like a decent combo? plus grease fire for another? im assuming the health line is a good line though? and the hex's sound alright which line would be better the hex line or the walking bomb line? The glyph line is next on my list. I probably wont have extra to put in cold or should i get cold? and is the drain life line good to get or should i worry about another line instead?

Dont use crushing prison for shatter, just use the lower lvl earth spell, the stone fist. It still shatters, costs way less mana, and lower CD if you need it again.
