2. See that I am being outscored
3. Start crying
4. Assume fetal position in corner
5. Use all my missiles wave 11 in an attempt to win
6. Blame lag
7. Say I did some explicit things to his mother last night
8. Start crying again
9. Ragequit
10. Make post about it on BSN
11. Say flamer can't take down a shielded atlas in one cast
12. Start quote pyramid
13. Get permabanned

Happens now and then when I need to be AFK and my cat takes over and walks randomly over the keyboard. He still manages to outscore some of the PUGs.

If it was to happen, I'd ask "what's your name on bsn man?"

There was this one guy the other day who really scored high and made the game quick, but man, that was a pain. Not because he left us scrapes, but because he was playing like he was alone. He was running around killing everything in sight, without regards to the rest of the team. He was clearly scorewhoring, and that doesn't impress me. It ruined my game more than anything.
But if the person who tops the board is a team player, then I'm OK with it.

When i'm on a shotgun SI/SE and 2 or 3 of the others keep falling down even when they're around me, that playstyle is all that keeps me alive to wave 11 :|

When I see an AIU and a Paladin in a lobby, its time to use an Overload kit and detonate all things!
Score, PUGs, score.

If it happens, then good for them. Maybe they tried something I never did. Or played a map or build in a newer way.

You realize that if you are in a random lobby, then you are a PUG too. Therefore, there is always a PUG that outscores all the others, hence they are being outscored by a PUG.
People are being outscored by PUGs all the time.
This is just..silly and a semantics thing that gets brought up all the time in these threads.
Yeah all of us are aware that if we do a quick match, we, along with the three other strangers are technically in a "Pick up game" and are all randoms. However when you read the thread title- while it's a bit clunkly- almost everyone familiar with the term will be self referential with it. As in: I am a player everyone else is a random stranger in this pick up game.

I am usually happy if i had a good game myself, and I always send them a message, gg. I will say that I posted a thread this weekend because a pug was destroying everything with a AIU. I checked his build after the match ( hoping to copy ) but he had a 66666 build on almost all his infiltrators
Ooooh..I'm going to try that!!! j/k
That sucks

... actually, thinking about it, it happened last night - running a couple of PuGs before bed and I was dropped into a lobby with someone called BlastoTheMighty ... that guy could seriously rock a Turian Havoc (obviously no big stupid jellyfish kits).
I joined as a Fury but there was one already in the lobby (who's name I completely forget) so I switched to AJA - ended up in third (that Fury was really good) with Blasto in second... Fury quit after that game and I switched to a Fury (need AF/DC for Biotic Mastery again which is why I was using her in the first place). Blasto in top, me in second.
Both games were fairly smooth rides, which is pretty much always the case if I'm not topping the scoreboard, so it's a good thing.

(Forget plat -- have only extracted 6 times and don't expect to be top scorer -- yet!)
