I want to know how he exited the weapon menu without a weapon equipped? It would not allow me everytime I tried, OP must be cheating, should we report?

Your gun mods on the krolord should be omni-blade and either AP or heavy barrel, always.

This... I laways take the bloodpack punisher with 90% lightweight materials and shredder mod... cooldown stays at 200%

What? Where are you getting that idea? Did you read the first post?

Anyways, I followed the tips in the thread and equipped an SMG and used an Armour Piercing Ammo consumable. Worked just lovely

I'm quite new to the game so I don't have many weapon mods so I couldn't use the Armour Piercing mod

If you think about it really hard for a really long time eventually one of your teammates will kill it or it will kill you and you will die and you won't have to worry about that guardian ever again.

The first time I used my Krolord, I tried a Silver solo and I got too carried away by "smash all the things" and timed out on assassinating Guardians. Lately, I've been finishing up Shotgun Mastery and Reckoning Mastery. I love the head-popping of a good shotty with the Shredder mod on a Guardian. Just finished up Crusader and next I'll see what this Wraith is all about.

Slowest? Dragoons are slowest on me. Everybody else kills them before me. I completed Guardians before Atlases.

I unload my Raider (with the High Velocity Barrel mod, so there's innate AP) right into the Guardian's face at point blank range. That'll show him!

You could fit an Executioner pistol- which has inherent penetration enough to punch through their shield- with a melee stunner and power amplifier mod that would boost your powered hammer blows.  You could fit a Crusader shotgun- also with inherent penetration- with an omni-blade for even more melee damage. 

Even shorter answer-  get a gun with an A/P mod or A/P ammo, derp.
