I know this has been discussed to death here but still couldn't help posting about it! More power to you if you rocket on extraction wave, but I'll have my jimmies rustled if someone doesn't extract because of phantoms respawning behind them. I am talking about that poor N7-90ish with his avenger soldier who bravely fought a phantom while I was disabling the device (PC , Gold).



Now the smh part about this behavior is that It has become a rather little frequent phenomenon when I am pugging, and I only pug, on gold (PC) and that it is exclusively displayed by a person with high N7 ranking (>2000) and high challenge points (>20000)....and the kicker is that they have the "alternate" banners activated (like femshep botb, Drell-God.....you get my point) and their character is already level 20.. I think that someone with that high experience and with an alternate banner would at least know something about the game mechanics and play a little more responsibly.



So what is with this behavior? Do we have a few Harvey-two-faces here who display this reckless behavior while pugging and then come here and shamelessly comment on threads like "Things pugs say.."..?!!



NB: this post is not a sweeping statement about most of the people here. I've seen far too many  BSNers pugging who shine and display responsibility and skill that is the hallmark of anyone who frequent these forums. Rather this post is directed at those few (5 to be precise) who I met, having the credentials that I stated and displayed this behavior

I was playing with a PUG on xbox, good player for the most part, got good scores...

But in the 2nd match on jade, it was wave 10, pizza delivery. Round starts, I pick up the Pizza, the Pizza route was clear, perfect, nice and simple.

Then the guy runs into a spawn on the other side of the map from me and rockets it. Low and behold, all the enemies then spawn between me and the drop off point, making my life more difficult.

Extraction wave missiles? I just wonder why you didn't use them before. But to use them on wave 10 to negatively effect the objective is just a dick move.

Its a "True PUG" who does this for me hence I am less disappointed since I've experienced it all the time ... The people I am talking about actually wait for them to get paid before emptying all of them on extraction wave.....

This is a new habbit of mine since a few weeks. If I am running with new players I rush to the device and if a new players is on my tales I let him take the pilon I defend him. Works great, he is gratefull that you give him the objective and I am gratefull that I have better change of staying alive.

It does put a smile on my face when I see new player doing his part in the game. Its a refreshing sight to see a new player dumped into a gold lobby and then equip consumables, even if they were level 1s... its the heart that matters....

I m okay if they want to score w**** by rocketing on extraction wave, I've seen it happen all the time, but I am angered by the fact that some of these people who I saw doing boast of high rankings, challenge points and the fact that they might frequent these forums as evident by their "alternate" banners, and do it so recklessly that it always jeopardizes someone else's extraction....

I'm confused on what this thread is even complaining about...

Using missiles on extraction? As long as we GOT to extraction and there weren't any situations earlier where their missiles would have saved the team a whole lot of medigel, I don't care how people use their missiles after I get paid.
