OP, I am almost certain I played with you yesterday. Or at least someone with a very similar ID. I shall apologise to you regardless: I am very sorry that I panicked and nuked a spawn on escort which we could have dealt with and thus not resulted in a huge spawn of nasties at the end of the escort... Level 5 TSol on gold (I thought it was silver *facepalm*) with a CSMG. I shall endeavour to never do this again!
there is no need to apologize since what you did was a genuine heat of the moment -error in judgment and happens to everyone of us. My Op is not about these honest mistakes but about deliberate use missiles on extraction solely for the reason of topping the scoreboard, and jeopardizing everyone's extraction in the process...
No harm done. I have a bad memory since I always go for a marathon pugging session thus I m quite pathetic at remembering names of people I've played with. So pardon if I can't recollect our match.....

You know, not every single moment of every game has to be perfect. Its just a game, sometimes people act without really thinking, sometimes people just make honest mistakes, and sometimes things just go wrong. Its just part of gaming.
never said that the game has to be perfect, heck if you Pug then this(perfect game) is possibly the last thing you can think of before the start of the match... my OP is about something else...

I agree with you btw OP.
This is something I hate
Perfectly placed and manageable spawn at the beginning of extraction. Guy slightly behind me in the scoreboard runs into nuke it for no reason, making extraction much more of a clusterf*ck:sick:
I made a thread about this months ago that got viciously flamed by the rest of BSN, btw.
I generally try to kill nothing on extract, unless it must be killed. In the situation like this, I would likely head toward the ladder near the LZ and pop in for a last moment extract.
I had a Gold game like this the other day on Giant. The game went smoothly until the end. Two of the team rushed the LZ and pulled a pile of Ravagers in with them. I was waiting quitely on the far side of the map and the other guy waited with me when he saw what I was doing. For 1:30 we had nothing to do except one husk that wandered in. Last 30 seconds I headed to the LZ, saw it was out of control and slipped into the back corner in the last 3 seconds (that little corner that is inside the circle). Managed to eek out a partial extract.
But I was at the bottom of the scoreboard :innocent:

I missile if needed along the way to the EZ in the last few seconds, but usually dodging and an ops pack is enough. Frequently the EZ is a mess so my missiles are out ready to clear if needed.
