Played a Gold match on Ghost not too long ago with two of my buddies leaving a spot for a random player to join. Since it had been a while, I decided it was time to mess with the random again. We were in party, so the unsuspecting fourth could not hear what was about to unfold.

I suggested that all three of us run back towards the ammo crate near the LZ and shoot at the same spot on the ground in between each wave.

-Wave 1 - we proceed to predetermined point, encircle it, and start to unload on it
-Wave 2 - same proceedure at wave 1
-Wave 3 - the random sees something is up and comes over to investigate slowly.
-Wave 4 - he runs over to our group huddled around this spot and tries to see what we are shooting at.
-Wave 5 - Random runs over before all of us and starts shooting at that same spot. In seeing this I tell the 
               guys to quickly run to a new spot and start shooting at it just like before! This kept going for the
               rest of the match.



Has anyone participated in something like this or even witnessed something like this before?

You are bad and should feel bad. He probably thought there was some glitch you were exploiting. If you had some class you would have messaged him to let him in on the joke, IMO.

Maybe he thought it was some kind of socializing ritual like the Krogan headbutt ?

LOL, he sent me a message after the match reading only, "WTF?"

I then explained we were just messing around. He though it was funny after that.

He then went on to say something along the lines of he was baffled when we switched spots...

I played in a random game the other day and got blessed with Collectors. One of the randoms went down on wave 5, so I patiently waited until the Crab was on top of his body to revive him. He gets munched on, and I am laughing hysterically. PS: Anyone that plays with me knows how I roll.

Next wave begins, the same random goes down right next to me. Quick to learn of my tricks he insta-gels, and feeds himself to the almighty Crab. I was dying laughing at this point.

It is things like this that keep me playing this game.

We only did in between waves, then all out during the waves. Nothing was left alive.

TBF, I only take note of what my PUG teammates aka decoys are doing in between waves so I can predict the next spawn.

I dropped in a random gold lobby two days ago and they used me for Pug Lottery. Made me happy to see four Geth Soldiers fully equipped with an Acolyte and Hurricane running around the map flamer-ing everything.

Where have all of you been my whole life!? I recently posted this in another thread " lately I've been going into bronze matches will low level characters and making life hard on the new guys. Shooting an abomination that's right next to a squad mate, delaying objectives to see how long they can last, etc. " and I nearly got crucified!!
I love it to mess with randoms, just like they mess with me sometimes...

Lmao, trolling can be a lot of fun. I saw a Batarian adept lash a Possessed Abomination right in between him and two other randoms near the waterfall ammo crate on Hydra and wipe them all.

U should have done it in a corner so that once he gets in the corner, all 3 of u quickly block him in so he can't get out. Unless he can teleport.
