I'm at the point in the game near the room with the turret and the Asari prisoners.
I think the map is X-1 wing.
But invevitably, somewhere in this room or near it, the app will unexpectedly quit, in the middle of combat.
This is obviously going to be a problem, since it's a roadblock in gameplay.
Has anyone else experienced this?
Why does ME Infiltrator keep crashing?

It might be best to give us some more information. What system are you playing? Which game? If this is ME1 then I can tell you by my own experience that it is the most buggy game of the whole trilogy, with framerate drops, freezing, and completely glitchy AI's during several side quest missions. And it's not just with the infiltrator either.
Best thing to do is to save often! The auto save isn't enough. So if your game does freeze, you can restart the system and try again. I remember the mission on Luna at the end when I disabled the rouge VI it froze a bunch of times, making me restart the game several times before it fixed itself.

It's none of the ME trilogy games.
Mass Effect Infiltrator is a stand-alone game for iPhone and iPad.
Although it can be linked to ME3, through Galaxy At War.
What effect that has, I don't know, I haven't been able to get it to work.
And yes, I am considering contacting the Developer, i guess I'll have to try that.

Mass Effect: Infiltrator, when played linked to an Origin Account with Mass Effect 3, Will provide 40 War Asset Points. Depending upon gameplay, this can be upped to 120 War Asset Points.

Do you get a special Galaxy at War asset for that?
Like say, the title character?
Or does it just add points to your score?

You gain a war asset called "Cerberus Escapees", which is normally worth 40 points, but can be increased to 80 or 120 points based on your performance in Infiltrator (like getting gold on all missions, etc).
However, the war asset can only be accessed through your Origin account if Origin is online (just like the "N7 Special Ops Team" war asset in multiplayer) and will be unavailable to you if Origin is offline.

Oh sorry XD. I thought you meant the infiltrator class in the ME games.

Yeah, I've consistently failed to score Gold, so high scores aren't possible.
It'll most likely stay at 40 then.
And I don't know if it possible to play with Origin offline.
I leave it on as a matter of habit, at least while playing ME3.

I do it all the time, mostly because the main computer I play ME3 on is also my workstation and I prefer not to have it hooked up to the internet if I can help it (unless it's for like software updates).Tilarta wrote...
