Whether I like him or not is a little immaterial, since I roleplay whether my character in the game is liking him. However, he's been along for all of my third game so I've had a lot more interaction with him than previous games and I have to say that I'm rather neutral about him. He seems to pay more attention to Wynne anyway.

Yeah what is with that?  I guess he wants to be a "Grey Warden" too.

I do. Unfortunately I haven't played a male character long enough to see how the male romance plays out yet. Does he set up the male romance the same way he does with the female. Going from booty call to saran wrap as soon as you put out?

I never got as far as him giving me the earring he covets, but I'd guess it would be the same. He kept teasing me and saying "Alright, but I get to stare at you luridly while you do." when in conversation. I broke it off with him and went back to Leliana, since I liked her romance better.

Alistair's more my type anyway.

 I've no use for his demented pillow biting ways, he is okay for a game character once past
the queer talk uhhhg, which I personally find sickening.

Some of his banter is funny, I rarely use him however.

The first time I played, I just killed him as I would any assassin, but on my second playthrough, I tentatively let him live, to question him, and after the first few seconds, I knew I had to have him in the party.

For the most part though, I prefer his banter with the other party members to his conversations with the main character. Try playing with Morrigan, Zevran, and Leliana in the same party for several "banters" to see what I mean.

My male chars don't mind him but don't encourage him either... the female have more interest in him... I still want to know what happened in the 4some at Isabella's ship since Leliana was all over me later, demanding a choice!!! She seemed to have liked it though!

Yeah, Zevran's alright and I like him a lot and though I still haven't finished my first playthrough and don't know how he develops up to the end, I have to admit that up to now I feel like Bioware have done an excellent job in fleshing out excellently good and believable characters. To such an extent that gives me the opportunity to replay the game time and time again by role-playing different kind of characters that feel and interact differently to these companions.



If Zevran was a character I knew in real life I'd never go for him (and I don't think he would be interested either), but I'd definitely join him down the pub for a few drinks.



By the way, RageGT I really enjoyed your movie series with the best party banter, so thanks for sharing!
