PS4 looks great and sounds spectacular. Just recently, an executive reiterated that PS4 will be gamer focused to its core. It'll be my first Sony console, moving over from Microsoft's Xbox 360. Things that stick out for me:
-GDDR5
-8 GB RAM
-Not always-online
-Allows used games
-More exclusives
-Very friendly and encouraging of Indie devs, making it easy to get Indie games on PS4
-Gaikai cloud (optional) and striving to obtain fastest network ever created (goal of having all titles from portables, PS, PS2 and PS3 available for Play.
-No camera monitoring me
-All major apps, including Netflix
-Focus on gaming, not gimmicks
-Ability to record, share and stream our gameplay from any given point (will be used like screenshots are nowadays. Envision not sharing a screenshot, but your gameplay. Instantly. It's coming)
Needless to say, I'm pumped. I will be buying brand new right after release.

The online 'backwards compatibility' option is fine, but a hard bc option is much more preferable. Rumor has it thqt XBOX will have the option, and Nintendo has that covered in their big and small consoles. Big feature I like to have. Other than that, PS4 is looking good, but I'll wait quite a while to decide.
