Kidding aside, I was a Spectre member for a brief time (I left because of too much drama on BSN for me). None of the members I have played with seem like bad people in game by any means, but sometimes (if not a lot of the time) the trolling on the forums goes too far. I don't act like a jerk over the internet because I am not one in real life either and I would recommend some of the Spectre members do the same. A lot of people on these boards recognize that you are high quality players, but will not give you a chance if you come across as a dbag.

That said, hopefully this thread doesn't become a troll war for both sides. It honestly has nothing to do with "e-peen" or anything like that being a Spectre. I know I personally had joined to make new friends and to see if I could learn more from other players that I held in high regard. There are some kits that some players just dominate with where I am simply above average with it and so I try to get tips and stuff from them to help me play a kit better. I wasn't in the group long enough to really do most of that, but still got paired up with a bunch of the members and have had a blast playing with them. Especially Megabeast who is now one of my main go to friends to play with.

I think the majority of the BSN meanies aren't really active anymore (except Biggs... and yes he is a BSN meaniepants, he can't/won't deny it). Ashen was one of the trolliest... but he's always on Dark Souls now. Other than those two... I can't think of anyone else who fits that description anymore.

We'd love to have you back... not that you really need us since you're on all our friends lists anyway.

I feel the love Slim... from ME3 and BL2... and it is reciprocated

Not on all of y'alls list. I have never played with quite a few of the Spectre members such as Saints or Stikman (there are others, but don't know all the names off the top of my head). I already have an extremely solid friends list with tons of great players though. Even if they aren't the greatest at ME3 they are a joy to play with and that is that is how I prefer to spend my time gaming now. 

Not to say that those guys I mentioned wouldn't be fun to play with or anything, just saying that if you come across as an arrogant jerk with your posting (even if sarcasm, it is not the best in text form) that you are likely to push away potential new members by attitude alone. (Not directed at anyone in particular, but the "best players" should be held to a higher standard).

Oh look! Another Spectre I have had a blast playing with. Good games earlier even though I was playing terribly there on the last like 2 games.

Right, sorry I meant more in regards to "train them. Who knows, maybe one day they'll be a Spectre" as opposed to "we should condition up a bunch of newbies so everyone can be Spectres!"

its rarely happens. but it is possible for people to get better just by playing with better players, which can lend to a "maybe one day" thing. Its all about determination really and willingness to learn

But seriously I might consider but too busy getting annihilated by exams atm as well as the fact I haven't played this game in about 3 weeks.
