I've played with hardcore sammon plenty of times and even duo'd platinum with him twice. He's good but not better than those you mentioned and I don't like you talking about my friend biggs:P

10 waves survived when soloing Platinum more times than you can count on your fingers. Constantly getting over 300-350k on u/u/p with randoms regardless of class and weapon. And the thing is both Salmon and I are guys that plays casual, we are playing for fun and not for speed or score (like Spectre Scrub). When we actually try to play somewhat serious.....

Then why act like that on the forums?  If you're looking for new players to join your private gaming community, why not just ask if someone wants to play some matches and if you think they are "best of the best", then invite them into your gaming group via PM?  If they don't meet your standards, just say "thanks for the games" and move on.  It just smacks of elitism to make a post looking for people to join, while also saying "oh, btw, you have to pass our tests before you can even be considered to be invited to our self proclaimed best of the best club."  That was the biggest problem I had from the start.  You want to find new blood to play with, fine.  But why not go about it without sounding like an epeen measuring contest?

Skill in the other hand, you can just see if a player is skilled just in the way it takes down some enemies and in the way it does that and the techniques the player use in the game.

Skill means a lot of things.

To be clear, no question about your skill level.  After all, I did learn how to play the Batarian Soldier from watching you.  Good luck on the recruitment drive!

Well, I've seen a lot of videos from members in this so called Spectre Scrub group and very seldom have I been impressed. It is my honest opinion that HardcoreSalmon is the best active player on Xbox from BSN today and both Mr. Biggs, Discruble888, Cainscrub and Megascrub is far less skilled players at this game than he is.

But I can totally see why you are scared Biggie, because you would just get embarrassed when you're at the bottom of the scoreboard like a little noobie

Why is everyone getting their panties in a bunch?  Who cares if they are selective with their group?  They are probably just a group of good players who want to build a network with other good players.  They're not here to teach, so they don't want just anyone to join.  It is understandable, especially with the state of PUGs these days.

I'm sure there are the occasional scorehoar in the mix, but the most of the guys I've played with so far have actually been pretty relaxed.

Maybe people outside of the group have negative feelings or preconceived notions about the group based on how some of the members carry themselves on the forums, which is understandable.  Acting one way on the forums and another ingame is no defense for the group, especially if you choose to advertise recruitment using the very same medium your members use to poorly represent the group.

By the way, I'm not a part of the group.  I'm just giving an objective point of view here.

I would have laughed this off before, but considering some of our current members are some of the same people who constantly whined about the group on the multiplayer forum it's questionable.

Yup, that is true. I figure most of it is just jealousy because most people want to make others feel bad about being good at something so that they themselves can feel good about not being a part of it 

In all honesty I have always liked the idea of a bunch of really good players grouping up together and making some amazing videos for others to watch. And yeah, even though they are all scrubs they are still terrific players I must say

It is, but mastering it tends to make a person bitter. That doesn't wear well at any age and unlike great wines, it gets more rancid instead of better as time goes on.
