Games were completely fine when you hosted them for me Cowwy, and I have a crappy Parisian subburb connection that prevents me from hosting for others, so I don't think you should worry about that.

I wasn't much worried about myself, it was more for Deerber because I don't know how bad the internet is there or if the connection to Australia is manageable or not. And Redjohn's internet is on its own level.

Haha yeah I would probably be worse than normal pugs. If there's something that really gets in the way of my gameplay is lag

Well, let me put it this way: I would be more concerned about Cricketer hosting for me than RedJohn!

What has been said is how evaluation will be decided.

If all you can do well with is Geth Trooper w/ Acolyte, Turian Ghost w/ Harrier, Javelin GI, some weak grenade spam class or Reegar Kroguard... don't bother trying out... and DON'T expect to fool anyone by scoring well with Armored Compartments.

It's pretty apparent when someone has "the right stuff"... and as Biggs says, "If there is any doubt, there's doubt" and they usually don't cut it. Also.. it is understandable for people to have bad games, it happens to everyone. Sometimes the AI just decides that they are going to attack one person primarily.. and that's just the way it is. Tryouts aren't a one-game and done thing... we will usually play 3-4 games (I will anyway). If this takes a few days... so be it.

Personally... Vanguarding impresses me the most. Infiltrators, Flaming Geth Troopers and Grenades Spammers don't impress me at all. I will gladly let anyone who is trying out host if they want to play a host dependant kit... I'll just play a non-host dependant kit.
